I have been following this plan for 10 days now and wow, it is amazing! The guide is thorough and detailed and really explains the science behind it all and in a simple and entertaining way. The recipes are easy to follow and use common ingredients and they taste incredible! For a mom with 2 small children, who works from home with a husband who works away, this plan is taking the guess work out of what to cook and shop for. My kids are even loving the meals and I love how they are helping us on the journey towards amazing health! Zuzka must have put in so much time and effort into this plan. The research she did for all the scientific backing is astounding. I also love that she put in the time to calculate all the macros for each recipe making it so easy to be in tune with what you are eating. Thank you Zuzka for another phenomenal meal plan, for taking the time to care for our well-being and for making the journey super fun and inspiring!

Thanks for sharing. Where can we download the actual daily and weekly meal plans please. Are there alternatives for meas you don’t like or substitutes? I’m also intolerant to eggs, dairy, wheat and gluten. What substitutes can we use for eggs please in the recipes?
Private –
There aren’t substitutes, this meal plan is to be followed as is because it’s broken down into macros so if you start substituting for different ingredients or meals, you will mess up the macros and risk you won’t be in nutritional ketosis. There’s no wheat or gluten in this meal plan. Eggs can be substituted for chia eggs but I can’t guarantee you will end up with the same meal in terms of taste or consistency. And as for dairy, there’s not too much dairy in this meal plan, but if you are intolerant, then I would recommend you to look for raw dairy products. Most people who try raw dairy realize that all the intolerance doesn’t come from the dairy itself but from the process that goes into making pasteurized dairy products. It’s possible to find a good quality raw dairy in the local farmer’s market.

Thank you Zuzka..one final questions please.
Is there anywhere we can print the actual meal plan recipes in a pdf to follow while cooking as it’s a little difficult doing it all from the phone etc. I like to have a printed version handy when cooking or to give to my helper to do when I’m working full time.

Another thing I’m dtrugfling with Is there anywhere we can print the actual meal plan recipes in a pdf to follow while cooking as it’s a little difficult doing it all from the phone etc. I like to have a printed version handy when cooking or my helper can also do it while I’m working. The plan consumes so much of my time. I did lose 8lbs the first 2 weeks. But it’s not sustainable as a working mother of 3 young children. So many dishes pile up, it’s like get home cook cook cook and wash dishes. I honestly felt like I hadn’t seen my kids in 4 weeks. It’s awesome to not have repetitive foods, but it comes with a price. Time. Some salads are super fast. I spent 5hrs on my feet making meals for 3 days. Not including dishes, not including cooking for my family. The highest my ketones ever got was like 1.2. Not worth all the stress and 0 energy.

The format of the meal plans is horrible. Why can’t we print out a .PDF version of the weekly plans and why isn’t there a print button to print out the recipes? It’s hard to prepare a meal while constantly looking at your phone or pc. I’m constantly cooking and I definitely wouldn’t recommend this if your have kids. I have 3 and the last thing I want to do is cook all the time.

Thank you for your review, you make a great point – eating healthy takes time and effort. This is one of the reasons why fast food companies make so much money and why so many people fail to stick to a healthy diet. Home cooked meals are the foundation of a healthy diet, but it always comes with a price – you have to be willing to put the time into it.

I have my Pros and Cons on the keto diet. Four stars because it is effective and with a sense of transparency. One star off because it could use a little fine tuning. CON: Week 7 shopping list in particular could use some fine tuning although other weeks have minor issues. Week 7 has requirements to buy some products that are not necessary and some products missing that are necessary to create the meals for the week. Prior to shopping, make sure to look at the meals and required items and add them to the list to make life easier. Otherwise, it will become necessary to make up recipes and essentially wing it to some degree with whatever produce brought home. There is also the issue that the meal plan cannot be printed but only the pdf can be. Something to think about prior to purchase as there is a limited time for use. There is also need for a little variety in recipes (my personal opinion) as one can only eat the power greens breakfast casserole oh so many times. My suggestion for improvement is throw in a couple of smoothie recipes for breakfast.
PRO: The meal plan is effective. If followed correctly and prepped meticulously, you will do fine. If you are a busy body like myself, prep in advance your meals and freeze them if possible, otherwise you will end up winging it (there’s been a lot of delicious keto green smoothies). Overall, I feel good eating on this meal plan despite some of the disadvantages some folks may face related to the type of diet it is (perhaps some of you are prone to malnutrition, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, or bowel troubles?). I used this meal plan to help treat my own medical woes and have been successful in doing so- bring up vitamin D levels with dairy as this has been a serious and chronic problem I’ve dealt with for years. Keto has also helped me bring down my blood sugar levels- for diabetics (2)/pre-diabetics the diet can help bring control the ailment if not alleviate it. Also, digestive health has improved a bit. Continuing on the diet has helped improve physical health and daily life as things have become much more manageable. If you have a medical history that maybe affected by dietary changes, its best to talk to a certified healthcare provider and/or nutritionist to give optimal guidance. Otherwise, do not fear buying the meal plan. Just do your homework, develop the necessary habits, and get it done!

This is so well thought out & put together. Keto can be very frustrating if done incorrectly. Zuzka takes all the guess work out & makes keto approachable & sets you up for success. What I found most helpful is the emphasis on vegetables. Veggies plus healthy fats filled me up so much that for the first time in my life I could easily keep my calories in the lower range without being ‘hangry’. LOL. The next thing I noticed though, was that because I wasn’t hungry as often, I ate less, which is great but then I felt fatigued more often
(I’ve been on zuzkas keto plan for 3 months) I had previously cut out carbs 2 yrs ago: (high fat & mod protein but I did not emphasize veggies like zuzkas plan does which makes all the difference w/satiety.) I then added supplements that zuzka recommends: omega 3 oils (I purchased her brand), vitD, etc. It seems difficult to get in all necessary nutrients if I don’t eat as much. But I seriously doubt I was getting all my nutrients b4 keto. Prob running on carbs, caffeine & anxiety! Lol! Im sure it takes a long time maybe even years for the body to run on fat efficently. I’ve def noticed that stress plays a big role in how I feel. I have to learn a whole new way of dealing w/stressors w/out my regular coping mechanisms that my body & mind were used to before like sugar. Bottom line this is the healthiest I have ever felt but there is a learning curve for both mind & body. I’m glad I took this keto journey & Zuzka makes it easy. Thank you Zuzka for all you do!! ❤

Would like to ask what supplements you recommend when on the Keto diet once you’ve adapted.
I’m sure I’ve missed a few that you’ve recommended. I know everyone is different but your opinion is much respected! Do you already have a ‘coffee talk’ or article on the topic? Thank you! 🙂

I appreciate Zuzka for putting in a lot of time and consideration into this for people who want to do Keto. I do agree that the Z-Shred meal plan (which incorporates moderate intermittent fasting and low carb) should be done first before doing Keto if you’re completely new to it. The transition will be a lot smoother. Everyone is different, Keto was great for me! Except I like to do it more as a “clean up” more so than a whole way of living. I eat more like the z-shred plan that she has. Both programs taught me what works for me and what doesn’t. 🙂 I like that she gives an explanation to the meal plan’s purpose rather than saying ” Here eat this, because you’re supposed to”.

Si, is there any way we can print it or not ?
