I know that not everyone likes to have people stare at them when exercising, but if you do know a place outdoors where you can take your exercise mat and do your workout without being interrupted or feeling awkward, please do so. I’m very lucky to have a backyard where I can do my workouts, and I absolutely love it. I always did. Whether it’s a roof top in Malta or a gorgeous backyard with pool in L.A., outdoors is outdoors and it always feels awesome.

Just to give you a little tip for exercise #2 – If you can’t do a Pistol squat, don’t worry about it. Keep both feet on the ground and just shift your weight towards one leg when you’re getting up or going down.

  2. Plow to one leg squat / jump lunge (x3) / one leg squat x 6 alt. legs

    I can nearly feel the fresh air by the pool.
    I wish I could train in my bathing suit, I rather wear shorts with high-waist and a gym bra…when at home.
    I workout outdoors when I am at work, and surely don’t want my colleagues to see me. They just spot me running out of the building and probably mostly think I am a runner (ha, ha!). however I need to pick exercises that are not rolling on the back and sometimes I can’t even put my hands on the floor (muddy or long grass), so I modify to adapt to the terrain.
    I will probably check on finding a place I can hook my suspension straps (and put it in a small backpack along with drink and a P-style P.U.D….as I tend to drink a lot) and run/bike outdoors in the woods.

    Edit: I did change the jump lunges to 4x so that I can really properly alternate legs. From the video it looks like Z always lifted up from one leg and dropped-down from the other leg, without swapping. sometimes I prefer even numbers as I get mixed up with odds.

    Wow, how amazing you look in this video 😍.
    So, I did 3 rounds, but without pistols, just plow and regular squat/ jump lunges. Then I did 6 pistol squats on each leg separately. Loved the mermaid. It took me little less than 10 min.

    Beautiful pic! I’d probably work out outdoors if I looked quite that good! As it is, I’m keeping my 38 week pregnant belly indoors 😊 I did Black Diamond 7x today, and then did 6 rounds of 5-min workout #75.

    I have been doing my workouts outside every day this summer. Awesome with a cool breeze and challenging in the summer heat. I have a little cemented gazebo with trees around it and a view of our lake. It’s beautiful and the closest thing I have to the ocean 😉 I can’t do any slide workouts though because it’s cement ground and my exercise mat so I have saved those for winter indoors and after I have this baby. You look stunning Z. I just can’t find working out in a swim suit comfortable. I’d spend Too much time fixing what’s riding up and adjusting lol
