How many reps total can you do in 5 minutes? Challenge yourself and try to beat my score for this workout. The exercises are basic bodyweight moves and can be modified if necessary. For example if you can’t do a jump squat, then stick with regular squat. If you’re having a hard time with the side plank, you can support yourself with your elbow. If push ups are not your strong suit yet, you can do them off of your knees. Bottom line is, it’s only 5 minutes and I know you can do this!

  2. Side Plank knee tuck push up x 10 alt sides
  3. Heel Touch / straddle sit up x 10

    Nice one! Did this and followed it with S&T #8. Replaced splitters with supported straight leg flutters for pregnancy. Sticky hot day had me sweating good!

    I will save this for tomorrow since I won’t have much time. I did Cardio Shred 33 instead which I think is one of the best and most effective workouts in the Zgym! Hey Z, if you don’t have plans for tomorrow my boys are playing in the Nike 3 on 3 tournament outside at Staples center. Really fun event! You can check it out on line. ๐Ÿ™‚

    After vacationing in the BWCA for a week and returning to new workouts that I had to catch up on. I am feeling beat up and need this rest day. This 5 minute workout is perfect for my active rest day. Thanks Zuzka!

    This was only a short 5 min work out, yet I found the side plank, push up and ab reps still very difficult to keep up with. Maybe I can modify some of those sticky points. Feeling Fantasic For a Friday! Hope everyone else is as well.

    Zuzka!!!! I was trying to motivate myself this morning and decided to bikini shop.

    I bought my first extra cheeky bikini ever. When I got home I put it on. It looks amazing.

    Today’s workout was fun! Ab splitters always make me feel the burn. I feel so much better now.

    I am going to kick 40’s tush ( pun intended).

    Hi Zuzka!
    I follow you now for many years and was able to achieve great results. I have lost 20 kilogram with your help. I want to thank you very much for everything! Now I finally decided to quit smoking to live a completely healthy lifestyle. But I always fear of gaining weight again. Maybe you could give me any advice how I could avoid this?

      Hi Tasha, congratulations on you progress! I totally support your decision to quit smoking. I’m amazed that you’re doing my workouts while being a smoker. I used to smoke and I quite when I was 25 and what helped me was exercise because I felt how hard it was to catch my breath. It was a great decision to quit and it took my body years to recover. I did not gain weight after I quit. The only way you can gain weight is if you start eating whenever you have craving for a cigarette. It’s basically emotional eating. If you tune into your body and really start paying attention to your emotions you will recognize cravings from hunger and you will make better decisions on when and what to eat. Don’t be afraid, you’ve already went so far and proven you can do this!
