I hope you’ll have fun with this simple Friday bonus workout. I wanted to show you how easy it is to use the power band and get a great full body workout right on your exercise mat. I think it’s the best exercise equipment for traveling because it’s so compact, you can just put it in your purse. The power band provides a pretty good resistance for your lower body exercises which will help you to keep your but and legs nice and toned on your vacation. It’s not like you can build muscles doing bodyweight squats with power band, but it’s a great way to maintain what you have if you have to hit the road for a week or two. Don’t forget to do your workout for today – check the weekly workout schedule and safe this routine as an extra bonus 😉 Have fun!
Workout Breakdown
1. Jump jack squat with power band x 20
2. Side Plank leg lift toe taps with power band x 10/10
3. Kneeling Leg Extension Lift x 10 (left leg)
4. Kneeling hip abductions x 10 (left leg)
5. Kneeling Leg Extension Lift x 10 (right leg)
6. Kneeling hip abductions x 10 (right leg)
7. Jump Jack Push up with power band x 10
8. Hollow horizontal scissors to vertical scissors x 10 alt.legs
9. Laying ballet hip raise to hip abduction x 20

This looks incredible, nice low impact workout that can easily be added on for a bonus. I will keep this one in mind for a buyout option at the end of Fit Slide days!
Did this as a buyout after SS-15x, great cool down with a little somethin’ extra 🙂 Think I need a medium or heavy power band, I have an extra heavy and I find it a little difficult to get full ROM on some of the moves.

Loved this one. I did this after doing the kettlebell/jumprope workout and didn’t even use the band because my legs were toast!

so i did the jrck#2 workout then this one, whew! thought i was going to die but loved every minute! it’s about 92 degrees here in massachusetts and i felt like i was in a waterfall of sweat!
thanks for the challenge zuzka, i used a 20 lb kettle bell but feel like i can go heavier next time, thanks for getting me stronger!

Hi Zu…I did this one also…but I did not feel anything…too light. I should do at least two more founds to feel some burn. But I did 20 reps of exercise 8…the best one when ot was becoming hard only 10 reps…no ways! Let us keep going…I will do pull-ups and move to shower! See you all, take care.

Hi there,
Does anyone else find that the bands roll up your legs? Particularly on the last exercise. Is there anyway to stop that? I was using the heavy one, but they sometime just ping and roll up/ down my legs!
