Zuzka Stretching

I’m a total junkie for a new home exercise equipment. It brings more fun into my training and I like the challenge of learning new moves and skills. Besides, every time you challenge yourself with something new, you’re making even better progress because you’re forcing your body to adapt to a new stimuli which always comes with gains. The Terra Core bench is a real treat for me. Here’s my question to you guys, would you like me to make a workout program using the Terra Core?  I know that not all of you are interested to spend money on another exercise equipment, but if you do happen to be interested, let me know in the comments. Maybe if there’s enough of you guys who would like a new series in the ZGYM or a stand alone program, I could get us a good discount. Right now I  have for you a 25% coupon code “Zuzka” which you can use at VicoreFitness.com

Don’t forget to check my Instagram today. I will be announcing the winner of the Terra Core Giveaway.

I have bosu as well so am up for series like that if we can use it instead of terracore? Like other people said as I’m in Europe buying and shipping terracore won’t be happening soon as it could easily cost a fortune with customs etc. I’ll be doing this one later.

I think the Terra core is much to expensive even with the discount, I´m not going to buy it, even though it looks like fun and I think it´s going to active muscles you do not normally use. But for me it is simply to expensive.

Hi Zuzka! So I’ll try to be as constructive as possible as to why I would not like any special program with the terracore… first Im one of those that are not interested in buying any more equipment. I live in a small apartment that already starts to look like more of a gym than a house… and even if you would get a nice discount for the terracore it wouldn’t apply to me because I’m in Europe. It’s not so much the spending of money but the waste in equipment, already I have a yoga ball that takes a huge amount of space and it’s rarely used… when I joined z-gym it was because of its simplicity and that not a lot of equipment was needed, with time I was happy to buy a few things, like the weights, kettlebell, pull up bar, etc but for others like the dip station and the terracore just seem like fancy piece of equipment that will be used for a few months and then just stay unused afterwards…
Now I understand that you like to innovate that’s what’s so great about your workouts and I really appreciate that, I’m just afraid that if you start a program with this new equipment what will you offer to the rest of us who don’t have it? Like today I’ll have to go and do a 5min workout that I’ve done before, no new workout for me, it’s not really fair, I’m also paying membership and I really look forward to the new workouts! so I guess if you want to do a special program for this go for it, becausr others will be happy but please just give the rest of us good and fun alternatives too 🙂 on a last note I much prefer the goal focused series, like the handstand series, the summer shread and will love if you would do one for splits (I guess this one could be integrated with the stretch/tone series).
Sorry for the long email, just wanted to give my thoughts, hope you take the time to read it 🙂

Great feedback. I agree with you. I wouldn’t be psyched about buying another piece of equipment because of spacial issues…even though I own a decent sized home and a BOSU ball. The thought of having another piece of equipment taking up valuable space, using it for a while, and then not isn’t appealing to me. Even with the discount the price point is still deterring.

Love your suggestion about goal focused workouts. And, echo the love for another series incorporating splits. I would prefer one incorpoating cardio and/or strength because I tend to like workouts that make me feel like I have been active.

As an aside, I really do appreciate Z trying to keep things fresh and new. That’s really important to the Aries who gets bored easily.

Despite it’s very expensive, I will have to pay tax: it’s 30% for all purchases which higher then 22 euro, so 270$+74$ 😱
I would like to have all what Zuzka recommend, but sometimes it’s impossible and maybe won’t use in the future.

I understand what you’re saying, however, 5 minute workouts are not ZGYM workouts but Youtube workouts -free for every one. And also what about people who do want this equipment? I post 3 new workouts a week in the ZGYM, are you saying you’d be upset if you had to choose one of the hundreds of other workouts in the ZGYM? Just a question. You seem really threatened by the idea of adding the equipment. What if it was every other week? You see, ZGYM is a community of all kinds of people. One shouldn’t be more important then the other. We should be able to compromise.

As I read some of these comments I am amazed, there are literally hundreds of workouts available in the Zgym. I rarely follow the schedule as is and really don’t care if there are any “new” workouts in any given week. What is the big deal if Z uses some fun equipment in a few workouts for those who have the equipment. Variety is the spice of life. If I don’t have the equipment I just do something else.

I agree with you Cari, e.g i feel i needed some more focus and intensity so I’ve started summer shred and lifted butts series one day shred next butts, so many to chose from, schedule is great but i think now more for new starters:-):-) which is great because it’s them who need some more order.

I have been doing the same thing. SShred, and lifted butt every week! 🙂 also, if I want a full body workout I might do 2 rounds of a lower body workout and then a couple rounds of an upper body. So many options, Z would’t have to post a new workout for weeks and I would be fine.

              totally agreed 😀
or no equipment 12 minutes just push to beat your previous score and that’s it 😀
              cannot agree anymore with you
Zuzka really provides for everyone, so if she wants the new equipment she should go for it 😀

Me too! I’m off to Cuba next month so have also been rotating summer shred/lifted butt/inferno – six workouts each week! I do usually like to follow z’s schedule though because I like the feeling that we’re all doing the same workout together 😊

I totally agree with you Cari. I sometimes follow one maybe two scheduled workouts. Most of the time I choose and combine different series. I certainly don’t mind seeing variety.

I agree with you completely, Cari. A new series with a bosu or terra core would offer more options. If people don’t want to follow that series, there are so many others to choose from. I mostly follow the schedule, especially now that Zuzka gives so many options, but if I want to sub a workout or two, that’s what I do.

I do not think she is threatened by new equipment, but is instead concerned with the fact that there has been many equipments (sandbag, equalizer bosu ball, to name a few) that people have purchased that is used for 1 month then never used again. I agree. And also space is a concern with a lot of us who workout at home. If others want to spend money on new equipment they should, but please have alternatives for others without the equipment. I usually improvise if I do not have a certain equipment. But others may not know how to.

I love my Zgym subscription, and am happy to see the variety of workouts in any given week (bodyweight and equipment). I don’t think there’s a huge need for any expensive or bulky equipment series to be added, but I’d be very supportive of the occasional Z-special or whatever with some of the less common equipment. I have no intentions of buying a bosu ball or terra core, but I did buy an equilizer in the past and would be happy to make better use of it – so far I don’t think it was worth my investment but I’d be happy to give it a try again. Can be fun once you’re really careful and strong 😀

That’s my 2 cents. It’s so easy to pick an alternative 5 min workout for the day – or often if the weather isn’t nice enough to jump rope outside, I will pick some other body weight cardio or jump over the box type workout. There are so many choices after all!

I love going back to her older BR workouts and doing the ones with the equilizer or sandbag. Just love them. Or i take sections/parts from them and add them as a buy in our buy out since some of them are set up in Intervals and Time challenges in one workout. I have a Bosu and will use that if she does some workouts with Terra or pick and choose some of her old Body Crushes and incorporate the Bosu in those for a change up. Seeing her do this video just gave me some ideas of how to use it again. lol

Hi Zuzka, thanks for replying 🙂 I don’t feel threatened by the new equipment, its more frustration: 1 because it’s expensive and I would not be able to get it here anyway and 2 because I would be afraid on its use in the long run. I know that there are hundreds of other workouts to choose from but I would feel left out, the 5 min workout with the terracore looks very cool and if you start to introduce more of the it I guess I’ll try to do it with modifications (maybe get a bossu ball or something but again I would be wondering for how long I would make use of it).
I know it sounds silly but it’s just how my motivation works, I like to follow the schedule along and not have to go look for an workout myself, that’s why I suggested that if you do have one workout with the terra core that there would be another alternative workout. I understand that it maybe difficult to prepare two new workouts for the same day, so you could give suggestions for other workouts like you do for the other days?? And by all means i don’t want to dictate how many workouts you do with the terracore per week, I know its hard to please everyone, I was merely voicing my opinion which is I would prefer to make more use of the equipment I already have rather than getting new one but I also understand that its fun to innovate and others will be happy to get the new equipment … One idea is maybe do two special series one with terracore and another with the more basic equipment (kettle-bell, dumb-bells, etc)?? just an idea…

At first, I was kind of opposed to another piece of equipment, but after checking it out and reading all the fantastic reviews, I ordered the Terra Core. I am so excited and can’t wait to get it. So, thanks Zuzka, for the compromise! Oh, and I too, am looking forward to Bikini Butt Lift. Also, what is your opinion of the FasciaBlaster?

I won’t be buying this piece of equipment, to expensive and kinda big! I will do this 5 minute fat burn with db and kb for weight, I know I won’t be getting the balance part of the wo but at least it’s something.
    Thanks!

This wo felt challenging even with 15 lb dumbells in each hand. Even though I didn’t have the balance challenge equipment. So thank you. Fun wo. Short and effective.

Guys, i found these neat little balance discs at a discount store. different sizes for a bout 10 bucks that would work great for the balance part. i have a bosu but these would work also especially for travel. i have seen them at sports stores.

I have a BOSU that is underused (does deflate very quickly, so need pumping for every session again), so would be interested if can be used instead of TerraCore.

Just a side note, if you plan into exploring other equipment, I’d be curious what you come up with a rod/pole/broomstick like Zejax or Bo staff …which could actually be a simple tube bought in a hardware shop. I am sure Jesse or his Dad could come up with a cheap accessible option we can then use.

As for me, I’m all for new workout related stuff, adding new equipment brings a lot of variety for sure. This terra core thing looks like a lot of fun and I’d love to have it but there’s no way I can get it since I’m in Eastern Europe and shipping/customs will literally cost a fortune for me, let alone this thing itself is not cheap at all. I’m lucky to have a couple of friends in States who brought me a roguefitness speed rope/sliders/bands/foamroller etc, cause we don’t have anything here, so I’m fully equipped for current Zgym routines, though asking them to bring this huge box isn’t an option J
BUT if bosu ball can be a substitute for this, I’ll be happy to purchase it, we do have them here and it’d be awesome to have a series like that – seeing Zuzka struggling with terra core made wanna try it for sure )

I would argue against it. As Rosangela above said, the draw of the Zgym was minimal equipment. I remember when Bodyrock kept adding pieces, it became frustrating and a turn off, and I followed you because of the promise of less equipment. If we keep going with the addons, i see it becoming a problem in terms of expenses, space etc.

On a more general level, I think it may become a turn-off for potential new members. When someone looks at your page thinking about joining and they see that thing? I would’ve said “forget it”. Again, part of your appeal is minimal equipment and affordability, and this is kind of goes against both. Personally, I don’t want another site with more “buy buy buy”.

It does look cool and fun and I totally get the desire for variety and new things but I wonder how long before the novelty wears off and the terra core will be gathering dust under your bed : ) Besides you can’t get it outside of US anyway. My spare bedroom already looks like gym so no more equipment for me. But if you want to do a special series with this I don’t mind at all. Hard to please everyone so compromise has to be made.

Agree with above comments. One of the reasons I follow only your workouts is because of the ease to do them, anywhere, anytime, with no equipment or basic ones. That way I cannot make any excuses 😉
