Workout Breakdown

Challenge: Time Challenge
Duration: 5-10 Minutes
  1. 20 reps - Backward Lunge Kick Up - (L x10)(R x10)
  2. 5 reps - Ballerina Plie Squat / Ballerina Balance Squat
  3. 10 reps - Deadlift / Overhead Backward lunge (on each leg)
  4. 10 reps - Balance Squat Pulses
  5. 10 reps - Push Up / Deadlift

I’m a total junkie for a new home exercise equipment. It brings more fun into my training and I like the challenge of learning new moves and skills. Besides, every time you challenge yourself with something new, you’re making even better progress because you’re forcing your body to adapt to a new stimuli which always comes with gains. The Terra Core bench is a real treat for me. Here’s my question to you guys, would you like me to make a workout program using the Terra Core?  I know that not all of you are interested to spend money on another exercise equipment, but if you do happen to be interested, let me know in the comments.     I’ll chime in on the YES side. I understand that it’s not something that appeals to everyone for a lot of very good reasons – but for those of us willing to make the investment, I say let’s do it! You have already created a massive workout library, and are constantly coming up with new things – so there are oodles of options for everyone! I’m always looking for variety and new challenges, and core is such an important focus area.

    Please keep us posted about what you decide, and whether you can get your ZWarriors more than a 25% discount. Thanks for your constant and tireless dedication, you are truly amazing!

    It looks like I’ll be echoing a lot of what others have said. I live in a 500 sq ft apt with my husband and right now all my gym equipment is piled up under our bed and the yoga ball is under our coffee table. There’s nowhere I could store the Terra Core and also I’m finishing school and not working so money is super tight. I love Zuzka’s innovation so I don’t want to stifle creativity! If a new program is implemented I suppose as long as there are modifications offered and/or alternative workouts I’ll be fine. No matter what, I love Z’s workout style. I would also LOVE more flexibility increasing routines!!

    Go for it! You provide plenty of new workouts every week, more so than any other online fitness channel and there are so many others that can be revisited. I love the evolution of your workouts. The Bosu can be used for much of this and a sandbag or DB can be used as well. Modifications are always there if the equipment is not available. You could offer this type of work out with bodyweight workouts the same week so there are options. Love what you do Zuzka!

    Hi Zuzka, I got a bit creative and I modified all the exercises with a KB (45 & 25 lbs). For the balance part with the Terra cota, I just did reg. squat pulses & for the ballerina balance squat, I did reverse squat with KB. I got a nice 5 min wo! xoxo

    I will be using my old trusty sandbag in place of the Terra core for these exercises. All of the equipment​that requires inflation is frustrating as it requires work prior to each workout. My balance ball is like that too. I am fine with a series with it though as long as modifications or other pieces of equipment are recommended. We have to remember that Zuzka advertises through these videos which allows us to enjoy them for $10 per month. She’s the best trainer on the market so it’s well worth it. Keep up the good work, Zuzka!!! Love the outfit too!!!!!

        Marlo, look up “workout sandbags” on Amazon. You’ll see what they are. You can get the sand to fill them at any home improvement store such as Home Depot or Lowes (assuming you’re in the U.S.).

    Can’t buy anymore pieces of equipment. Looks super cool but no. One of the reasons I joined your zgym was that it was simplistic but effective. I am always disappointed when the pull-up bar is in a workout because i don’t own one so I modify but I still feel like I did not do the full WO. I will try to modify this one too or go to an older one.🙁

    I could go either way. I like trying new equipment so it’s possible I may buy this equipment one day.

    If you created a program with it, I would just do the program whenever I buy the Terra Core. I’ve done two of your programs and really enjoyed them but am creating my own schedules with all ZGym workouts, currently.

    If you created a series and worked it into the weekly schedule, you always list plenty of alternatives for each workout on the schedule so that shouldn’t be an issue for anybody who doesn’t own the Terra Core 🙂 It does look fun though!

    I love your excitement, you were like a kid in a candy store! lol. I did the workout with the bosu ball. It was just as effective, except for the overhead presses.
    And love your sportswear! I can’t wait until it is released.
