If you’re following my weekly workout schedule and staying current, then you’ll be doing the 15 Minute Fit Slide Workout #9X before this 5 minute ab bonus routine. It’s going to be tough, but really worth it. Both of the workouts today are really going to target your core so don’t forget to stretch your midsection afterwards. Luckily, our abs recover fast, so you don’t have to worry too much about some brutal post workout muscle soreness that lasts 3 days. Just do some simple stretches like standing back bends and side bends, upward facing dog, or even something more passive using the balance ball. I personally enjoy stretching my abs by just laying on the ball (on my back) letting the gravity do it’s thing.
EQUIPMENT: Balance Ball
Workout Breakdown
Time Challenge
1. Side to side diagonal crunch x 10
2. Extreme Mountain Climber x 5 / 5
3. Pass the ball x 10
4. Santana Push up on a balance ball x 10 alt. sides

There is again wrong reps of exercise (for the third).

I think she miscounted. She meant each setup as one rep but only counted back and forth as one so she counted 5.

Probably you right. 🙂
I had written it after I did it, and I wasn’t so happy when I was doing sixth rep and Zuzka said “next exercise” 😁
These differences of reps are not so often, but it happens. And when I repeat it I get trap in the same situation.

Abs burner workouts…kkk 🙂 Hi Zu and friends…edit button is everything…I decided to have fun and I did a 37 min buti yoga workout today…laughed a lot, enjoyed it and sweated a lot. I am saving this one for Sunday as my abs are a little sore today. See you all, take care.

Hi Zuzka,
I am pursuing a career in CPT, and was curious if you are certified, and if so, through who? I would love any suggestions or comments as to who you recommend or any tips you can give me! I love doing your workouts and have been a follower of yours for about 4 years now. You have inspired and motivated me to make a career out of my passion for health and fitness and for helping others. Thanks for inspiring me, Z! I have a goal of one day meeting you and working out with you!
Have a great day, everybody!

Hi Rachael, It doesn’t matter where you get certified and by who. From my personal experience, some of the largest and most popular certifications are also pretty outdated, so at the end of the day, you have to do your own research and learn from your own experience. I happen to know the back end of how these certifications work and it’s all just a huge business. You don’t need to be certified to start a career as a personal trainer, but you have to have a knowledge and desire to help your clients the best you can. I can recommend you RKC – kettlebell training certification which was helpful to me and Precision Nutrition where you can learn how to be the best coach possible and how to support your clients training with proper diet and eating habits. I think that taking any Personal Trainer Certification course is a total waste of time and money. I would rather recommend you to take smaller courses that focus on a particular thing to widen your knowledge in different areas – Kettlebell training, foam rolling, stretching, postural therapy, prenatal exercise, etc.

Thanks for your input! I had been told before that I didn’t need to be certified, however I have a job opportunity, and they requested that I get certified before they hire me into his chiropractic practice. He wants to offer his clients a PT. Its most likely for face value, as he is aware of my knowledge and drive for fitness. I will be taking those classes you mentioned!

This was another masterpiece ab workout. Passing the ball is one of my very favorite Swiss ball moves. It is SO EFFECTIVE. But the last one is my favorite today. Felt so good for stability and stretch at the same time. I did this after the Fit Slide #9. Great workout today. <3
