I love exercising outdoors, and I really enjoyed this simple and easy routine, especially after doing the crazy Summer Shred workouts π You guys have been asking me if I have any days off. This is what my day off looks like. At least a short routine and some stretches so that I’m not completely stiff the next day. Daily movement is so important especially as we get older, otherwise you’ll lose more than just a muscle tone. Every major system in your body relies on movement. If you stop moving, your body will start to deteriorate. When I was 20 years old, I was in a really bad car accident and ended up in an intensive care for 2 weeks. I was an athletic young girl, but after 2 weeks of no movement what so ever I had to learn how to use my legs and walk again. The modern lifestyle and most jobs are kind of keeping us tied down to a chair, which is not such a big difference from being tied down to a bed. The best way to balance out your sedentary job is to exercise daily and vary the length and intensity of your workouts.
Workout Breakdown
1. Weighted Clam left – 50 sec
2. Weighted Clam right – 50 sec
3. V-up Scissors – 50 sec
4. One leg dog to knee tucks right – 50 sec
5. One leg dog to knee tucks left – 50 sec

Easily my favourite 5 min wo so far! The weighted clams are becoming my favourite exercise and I love that you incorporate them lately. Your hair is really long, the longest it has ever been, no? It suits you. Cau:)

I agree ,Zuzka is the best women trainer on earth,,she diseve her sucess because she has been working so hard to succeed in her goal and she continues. She’s an example for all off us .!!!! .keep quite nasty people who triy to distroy Zuzka’s image by putting some videos on zuzka’s past;

I did this twice followed by last week’s 5 minute #38 and then to get my heart rate up I added 6:02 workout #2 (still my favorite, I’ve done that one so many times and I still love it!!) Burned 213 calories. Later I will do this one twice with 5 minute #17 and maybe 6:02 #2 again.

Goob job Rachel! I haven’t done a workout yet, but I will do one in an hour (that will be my afternoon w/o) and one in the evening after 8pm. Imma be a copy cat and do a 6:02 workout #2 too! Haven’t done one of those in a while! π

It really felt good! Did all together 3 rounds of this 5 min workout 39 and 3 rounds of 6:02 workout today. Earlier I did 2 rounds of 5min #39 and 1 rounds of 6:02; and now just finished 1 round of 5min #39 and 2 rounds of 6:02. Really needed to get my heart rate a bit up. I feel great now. Thanks again for the tip! π

Thanks Zuzka!! That was a great workout for an active rest day! My boyfriend and I did this together today :). I feel great, its nice to have a rest from the really intense workouts but still doing something to keep me in the right mindset. See you in the Zgym tomorrow :D.
