I love exercising outdoors, and I really enjoyed this simple and easy routine, especially after doing the crazy Summer Shred workouts 🙂 You guys have been asking me if I have any days off. This is what my day off looks like. At least a short routine and some stretches so that I’m not completely stiff the next day. Daily movement is so important especially as we get older, otherwise you’ll lose more than just a muscle tone. Every major system in your body relies on movement. If you stop moving, your body will start to deteriorate. When I was 20 years old, I was in a really bad car accident and ended up in an intensive care for 2 weeks. I was an athletic young girl, but after 2 weeks of no movement what so ever I had to learn how to use my legs and walk again. The modern lifestyle and most jobs are kind of keeping us tied down to a chair, which is not such a big difference from being tied down to a bed. The best way to balance out your sedentary job is to exercise daily and vary the length and intensity of your workouts.

Workout Breakdown

1. Weighted Clam left – 50 sec

2. Weighted Clam right – 50 sec

3. V-up Scissors – 50 sec

4. One leg dog to knee tucks right – 50 sec

5. One leg dog to knee tucks left – 50 sec

You can do this routine up to 4 times if you want push yourself little more today.

    These workouts have been such a gift for me. I live in a town of less than 2,000 people with no gym 🙁 In the past, I was a fitness competitor and teacher. Since moving back to the States and to this town, I got depressed bc I felt so lost. I let fitness go, my body composition changed and in general, I started feeling even more and more depressed. I remembered you from watching your workouts years ago on YouTube and was so excited to see you have your own website now! $9.95 is such a bargain for anyone wanting to get in shape physically and mentally. Emotionally, my moods feel so much better after a workout and I LOVE that they are short and intense. I’m a mom with two kids, so time is of the essence to me. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put into these videos and website. You’re really the gift…..your workouts are just lagniappe. You are helping more people than you know!     This afternoon I did it 3 times and loved every minute! I used a 12kg dumbbell and felt the burn!
    Your hair looks gorgeous! I love the length!

    I felt full of energy this morning so decided to push it a bit!
    I did six:02 #1 then six:02#2 ,5min #39, six:02#2 again ,finally 5 min# 39 .
    It felt like a great combo.
    P.s Zuzka ,you are encouraging me to buy lots of Lorna Jane outfits.
    They are so gorgeous and you are the perfect model for them

    Zuzka. Angels must have been with you that day of your horrible accident because the events could have turned out even worse. I’m glad u are apart of our lives and healed from that chapter in your life. I can’t imagine a day not training with you. You fill many of our hearts with joy and I personally feel blessed to have found u so many years ago. The summer shred series was wonderful and I look forward to whatever u bring into zgym.
