This is the most intense 5 minute workout for abs I’ve done so far. The exercise ball provides so much instability to fight against, that your body has to put even the smallest muscles in your core into work which is exhausting and very effective for strengthening your abs. You won’t expect the crunches to be that hard, it looks so easy. WRONG! Give it a try and see how much room for improvement you have.

    I didn’t want to pass on this workout,I have no swiss ball! I did regular knee tucks,used my yoga block for the ab crunches,regular transformers & pike jumps to jump squats. No excuses haha 🙂

    Looks nice, I’ll add this for one of my week-end routine..however not sure I want to inflate my swiss ball more. It is a bit deflated/soft and would probably be more “stable” than a very full/hard ball. Isn’t it?

    This. Was. Brutal. But my abs were definitely engaged the entire time. I can’t find my ball so I used my TRX which worked out great! I could only do 4 transformers and the crunches were modified as my feet were raised so I could only crunch my upper body. Love this and making it a favourite.
