I’m sure that many of you are excited for the weekend. I know how Fridays are. You’re looking forward to finish your work and get home as fast as possible and relax with your family or go out with friends. That’s why I keep our Friday workouts short yet still intense. It’s for the sustainability reasons which I talked about in today’s coffee talk: How to get into shape -part 1. You don’t want to set yourself up for a failure by planning a long workout for every single day. Be reasonable, make sure your expectations are realistic and you won’t have to worry about falling off the wagon. Get this workout over with and then go on with your weekend!

This looks like a very effective workout in intensity! I got home from Vietnam last night and can use my equipment again! YAY! I will add it onto another workout tomorrow. I’m catching up with all the new workouts that I couldn’t do because I didn’t have the equipment. Thank you!
Also, a bit random, but Zuzka, I’ve noticed that your accent has diminished since I started watching your videos in 2009. 🙂 🙂

I did this yesterday after Killer Legs #4. I used my 25 lbs KB and completed 2 rounds, all of #2, and 2 reps of #2. Happy to have my equipment available to me again. 🙂 This was a very effective workout considering the short time. I like the intensity.

I swapped this one for 5 min #55, which is similar, but has rows rather than pull ups – as I want to follow with Black Diamond 7 today. Will definitely come back to this one though!

I managed only 38 reps because I wanted to keep a proper form on each exercise. I followed by a 5 min WO inspired by the 5 min WO #19 to work on my skills :
5 x KB suitcase squat (R)
5 x donckey kick to ninja jump tuck
5 x KB suitcase squat (L)
4 x one leg squat

Hooray,a little bit for everyone!
I bought myself my Mother’s Day gift yesterday (Son is at Uni) – I found by accident a Oxford Door Gym,the only one in my town!!!! I’m over the moon.I have been looking for pull up alternatives & came across a Strongfirst Master on youtube & she said that the Russians started on the floor before doing pull ups,called the Hollow position & Hollow Rocker.Rocking on the floor with your legs & arms extended is HARD,your core is on fire.Can’t wait to be able to do pull ups,I’m so happy! 😀

Hi Zu and friends. This one is done right after my Muay thai class, I am tired but I do not think that is the reason I did not like this workout. It was painful, slow and hard…not the type I enjoy. Anyways, keep going! A nice weekend to all. See you all, take care.
