I’m sure that sometimes you just want to get things done quickly and effectively. I am the same way. If I can do something in a new way that saves me time and gives me the same results, then why should I stick to an old un efficient way of doing things?

Some of you may be too young to even know what this is. We had one at the cabin when I was a kid… It’s a washing machine 🙂

And this is a gym. A place where people used to go to workout, before they realized that they can do their workouts at home, or outside and save themselves a lot of time and money. Now I have nothing against yoga and fitness studios that lead fun classes for people and create a great community. I just don’t get the concept of going to the gym by yourself only to lift weights or run on a treadmill. That to me just seems like a waste of my precious time. You can make a huge difference in your body composition by doing the 15 minute workouts that I do, however you can also make pretty good progress with 5 minute workouts that are so intense that you’re basically getting the same benefits as if you would do a moderate intensity cardio for 40 minutes or lift weights for 30 minutes and taking long breaks in between sets (that’s what you’d do at the gym). Remember that Tabata has proven to us long time ago that as little as 4 minutes of high intensity interval training can be super challenging and beneficial even for high level athletes.

 

The workout I have for you today is high in intensity and short in time. Get your speed rope and exercise mat ready and get the workout done so that you can feel amazing for the rest of the day!

    whats wrong with doing Hiit/crossfit workouts at the gym? i go to the gym to use their equipment as i cant fit things like squat racks in my house. I use your moves and different combinations of reps/sets with weights to create a high intense workout. Gyms are great at times. I also excerise outdoors and at home. A mixture is never boring. As for 5 min workouts, for me i think about 20 min of hiit is perfect, thats at an intesne level, any less just doesnt cut it. Everyone is different, find what works for you.

    This was a perfect morning workout in between some yoga warm up and cool down. Plus, this is helping me get back into the ZWOW’s after taking a hiatus for 8 months.

    Hi im claudia from texas .I have what is call diastesis recti is the gap in my belly from my 2 pregnancys my las pregnancy was 9 years ago and is been 2 years the I tried everything .Do you tink your exercises can help me close my diastesis recti?

    I did 10 min of this workout after 10 min of 5 Minute Workout#3 – Burpees and Abs(18.08.14) + 8 rounds of 5 Minute Workout #4(20.08.14) + 5 rounds of 5 Minute Workout #5 – Intense Burn(25.08.14).
    Dynamic push ups are cruel, even from knees. Thank you.
