I’m sure that sometimes you just want to get things done quickly and effectively. I am the same way. If I can do something in a new way that saves me time and gives me the same results, then why should I stick to an old un efficient way of doing things?
Some of you may be too young to even know what this is. We had one at the cabin when I was a kid… It’s a washing machine 🙂
And this is a gym. A place where people used to go to workout, before they realized that they can do their workouts at home, or outside and save themselves a lot of time and money. Now I have nothing against yoga and fitness studios that lead fun classes for people and create a great community. I just don’t get the concept of going to the gym by yourself only to lift weights or run on a treadmill. That to me just seems like a waste of my precious time. You can make a huge difference in your body composition by doing the 15 minute workouts that I do, however you can also make pretty good progress with 5 minute workouts that are so intense that you’re basically getting the same benefits as if you would do a moderate intensity cardio for 40 minutes or lift weights for 30 minutes and taking long breaks in between sets (that’s what you’d do at the gym). Remember that Tabata has proven to us long time ago that as little as 4 minutes of high intensity interval training can be super challenging and beneficial even for high level athletes.
The workout I have for you today is high in intensity and short in time. Get your speed rope and exercise mat ready and get the workout done so that you can feel amazing for the rest of the day!
Have fun and I’ll see you soon!
Z.

I’ve heard that if you don’t work out at least 20 minutes, it won’t do any good. Is that true? Or even with 5 minutes of workout like this, will I continue to burn calories for next 24 hours?

+I find this very intesrting topic to discuss about. To my opinion about how long to workout it depends on the intensity of the workout, and that can be measured by how fsat heart rate is right after wtopping exercise, so it’s individual. As for me a very satisfying intensed workout will shoot up my heart rate to 200/min. So i usually use my heart rate to tell me if i have done enough of cardio/intensity. Past experience of me spending 1 to 1.5 hours in gym but couldn’t get proper intense workout, so it was a completely total waste of time to me. I think it also depends on what type of exercise you’re intende to do like cardio, resistnce or lightly intense exercise. I have improved so much from Zuzka’s w/o that i usually do 2 intnse w/o each time in less than 1/2 hour!My body muscles composition has defintely improved and stamina too. It’s all about what individual wants from the workout.
Sorry i went on too long:))
