We’ve been doing the same old stretching routine for a few months now and while that’s not something to be concerned about in terms of our fitness, you and I both know how important it is to change things up for the sake of sanity. This one was posted on BodyBuilding.com and some of you may have already seen it. Now you’ll have this routine available in Workouts and ZGYM under Zspecials and open for everyone to try.

I don’t know how I’ve missed this for so long, but it’s fantastic!!! I added some splits, and felt great!
Thanks, Zuzka!!!

I always get a headache during the “plau” (I dont really know how it is called). Everytime my legs go behind my head I feel strong pain in my head by my eyes and continues to the back of my head. Anyone had/has the same problem?

Maybe it’s your blood pressure or a pinched nerve. I haven’t experienced a headache but just a suggestion.

I get this sometimes when my cervical and thoracic spine is especially tight. Idk if u have already resolved it, but try making sure you’re not scrunching your shoulders up and try to elongate your neck and really let your back and hamstrings relax into the stretch. It took me time practicing just to get those muscles to release! Also, let your feet get to something like a chair or low stool rather than trying to get them all the way to the floor, and progress to get to the floor once u get the flexibility…Good luck if you haven’t already fixed it ๐

Thank you so much Erika! It might be it! I’m always trying to “look perfect” and don’t realize how much tight I am. Sometimes all the stretching makes me actually stiffer lol.

I know exactly what you mean!! It really helps me to close my eyes and just focus on how my body really feels, rather than how I look. Good luck, I hope you feel better going forward!

I have some students with this challenge. Breathe deep and slow taking your time. Try using your hands on your hips and elbows on the floor for support. Lengthen and soften upper back and relax neck. Definitely use chair like Erica suggested! Shoulders away from ears. Also great to foam roll out your shoulders and neck before trying stretch routine. Laying on Tennis balls under shoulder blades can help release neck tension. Do these separate from plow. Good luck and if it doesn’t help, do forward fold instead. Best!

Been a while since I worked out. Can’t believe how out of shape I am ๐ But it’s a new day.

But you did it!!! Congrats on jumping back in there!

Love this cooldown! I pause it to stay in stretches longer when I have time. Feels so good!

@zuzka: My knees are really hurting since I have started this program. I think the pain is caused by the jumps. Could you be so kind and tell me what I could change trough the workout? Thanks a lot! Cheers! B

How wonderful to have exercices like this to keep healthy! thank you Zuzka ๐
Maybe, it will be great if you have more things for beginners. Because I go very slowly and I do not think in many months I will be able to do your weekly rotuine with you ๐
Lots of love,

Well, Zuzka, you make it look so easy. Your a great teacher.. I thought I was kinda tuff, I do Krav Maga (MMA style martial arts) and I ride a bike all the time. This is a whole different ball game. I am not flexible at 48 at all, I hope this will help me become flexible, I can’t do all the stretches, nor can I do all the moves. I am humbled. I think I am a baby bunny! I am okay with that also.. 6 ft, 275 lbs by the way. Never been flexible. I hope I can become that. 2nd day of your program, and I can’t wait to get through all the levels. Thank you !!!! xoxo Austin, Texas.
