Pull Up Station
I love my pull up station and wouldn’t change it for anything. Using the pull up bar is one of the best ways to build your upper body and core strength.
You can get your own pull up bar power tower here:

If you’re a beginner/intermediate or if you don’t have too much space at home, I recommend this portable and foldable pull up bar that also offers easier modifications:
If you don’t have the portable, foldable pull up bar, then you might also need regular dip bars.
Assist Pull Up Band
Assist Pull Up Band is what I recommend for anyone who doesn’t have the strength to do a regular pull and wants to learn fast without being frustrated. I have the red band which gives you only a light support for the pull ups. The blue or the green band are the ones I recommend for complete beginners because those provide the most amount of support. You might want to start with blue and later on you can progress to the red band.

What can I do if I don’t have a pull up bar or even the option to get a pull up bar for home?
You can improvise by using 2 chairs and a broomstick like I did in this video: https://zuzkalight.com/workouts/5-minute-workout-shoulders-back/

Sliders
One of the most popular series in the ZGYM is the 15 minute fit slide that uses the sliders as a way to strengthen your entire body with low impact exercises using the sliders. Great for beginners and advanced, or anyone who wants to build bulletproof abs. Here are my suggestions:

Jump Rope
There’s no better equipment that will take care of your entire body, and provide super effective fat burning cardio, than a jump rope. It’s easily portable and you can get the most effective workout with it in less than 1o minutes. I use jump rope in my workouts a lot so if you want to workout with me and be a bad ass, I suggest you get your own. Here’s a Jump Rope I can recommend. You could also consider getting Airope: https://www.amazon.com/Weighted-Ropeless-Crossfit-Exercise-Training/dp/B01D0CW34U/ref=sr_1_1?s=sports-and-fitness&ie=UTF8&qid=1512245620&sr=1-1&keywords=airopeIt’s a jump rope without the rope – really good for beginners or for low ceilings.

Dumbbells
I think everyone should have a pair of dumbbells at home. I use 12 lb dumbbells with flat edgesFor complete beginners who want to follow the Bunny Slope Workout Program I recommend 3 lb dumbbells

Kettlebells
How to choose your Medium Size Kettlebell:
True Beginner Female 15-18lbs for your medium kettlebell
Beginner Female 18-22lbs kettlebell
Intermediate Female – 24-26 lb kettlebell
Advanced Female – 26lbs – 31lbs
How to choose your Heavy Kettlebell:
True Beginner Female -26-31bs
Beginner Female – 33-38lbs
Intermediate Female – 40 – 44lbs
Advanced Female – 44 – 53lbs
The medium 26lb Kettlebell (what I typically use) is perfect for upper body exercises such as the overhead press. I use the 44 lb kettlebell (I call her The Beast) for challenging lower body exercises such as the KB swing, deadlift, or squat. It’s the best equipment for shaping up your legs and glutes.
Exercise Mat
An exercise mat is important and you will need one for almost every workout in the ZGYM. There are a lot of bad quality exercise mats that slide and eventually shred once you start jumping on them and putting them through all the beating of your daily training. I found a great mat that really lasts and doesn’t slip: Gaiam Eco-Grip Yoga Mat, 3mm

I have the Bosu Pro NexGen 65cm: https://www.amazon.com/Bosu-NexGen-65CM-Balance-Trainer/dp/B077VBYGRQ/ref=sr_1_120?keywords=bosu+ball&qid=1551224154&s=gateway&sr=8-120
I bought it in a local store for $99,so I’m not sure why is it so expensive on Amazon, but you can probably get a lot cheaper one in places like ebay.

Zuzka, I love the legs like a dancer series. Where did you get your bar? Thanks!

Hi Zuzka. I have been trying to find a decent brand of ankle weights (2×2.5kg) but with no luck. I would like to be able to avoid another unfortunate purchase. Could you please suggest us a good brand? It is much easier with a lighter weight but the two brands I tried are really uncomfortable.
Thank you!

Here is the brand that I ended up with (the one VS angels use, which sounds ridiculous, but they’re by far the most comfortable I’ve tried). I love them so much, I bought a second pair. I use the 5lbs ea set: https://amzn.to/2LxPRfc , but they have a 2lb ea set: https://amzn.to/2GYTPb7.
I haven’t had an issues with the material wearing out after two years, but just in case, I bought some sheepskin on ebay to attach to the interior, to make sure they last forever, but still feel as soft as they do now. One day I’ll get around to doing that project …

Thank you for taking time to reply to me. I will definitely try them !

Hi Zuzka,
Is there another Pull-Up Station you recommend? The one you have listed above is a 1-3 month shipping time on Amazon. There’s several others on Amazon, with mixed reviews, so hoping there might be one you’d recommend. Thanks!

Unfortunately I don’t have any experience with the other ones. In my opinion they shouldn’t be so different from what I have. As long as it supports your bodyweight when you hang on it…

Hi Zuzka,
Can you please make a page dedicated to a full list of workout and stretching equipment? Thank you so much! 😊

I think I understand, you want me to update this page.. there’s some equipment missing.

Yes please! I just noticed you use the lacrosse balls and stretching band for the mob therapy, so I was wondering if there will be any other equipment/items needed as I go through these. I’ve been following you a long time and you’ve added different types of equipment over the years. It would be great to have a full page under fitness that’s easy to find which goes over everything you use in case people want to get a little more advanced. Thank you for all you do!!

Yes, an updated list would be great! I need to get the voodoo band and some of the other balls you use for mob therapy!

I have a question about your Body Vision PT600 Power Tower. I notice you have yours in black… can I ask where you got yours? I see most in white … can’t find in black.

Good morning!
What weight of ankle bands should I purchase for your workouts?
I see that the 10lb Synergy ones are up to 5lbs each side so should I grab the 20lb for 10lb on each side?
Thanks!

I would recommend 5lbs each side and if you ever need to increase the weight, you can buy another pair of 5lbs each and double up. Because some exercises will be harder then others and you don’t want to buy ankle weights that are too heavy only to find out that you can’t use them.

I was just wondering: What type of exercise mat are you guys using? What type of material? PVC, cork, caoutchouc…? Anything you recommend? I’m thinking about getting a caoutchouc one…
I definitely have to buy a new one. My current one is getting super slippery once it gets wet and as I’m sweating a lot, this basically happens as soon as I lay down on the mat for an exercise. After that I can’t perform any exercises anymore that require a good amount of grip (like jump lounges for example).
