Hi guys,
This workout was a lot of fun for me for two reasons:
1. I put together fun and challenging exercise combos
2. Β I got new workout clothes from the fashion store Six:02 that sponsored this workout
Let me know if you like the pants, tops and shoes in the comments and if you want to checkout the store and buy yourself something nice and new here’s their website: Six:02.com
This workout is really short but it did make me sweat and it was my easy day anyways, however if you want to really kick your butt with this routine, I suggest you do at least 2 or 3 rounds instead of just one.
P.S. Each exercise is linking to the ZGYM Exercise Library as always so that you can check out the videos and tips on proper form.
Workout Breakdown
50/10 intervals = 5 minutes 50 seconds
2. Bridge push ups (x3) / V – ups (x3)
3. Elbow Pike /donkey kick/ jump
4. Deep squat & side lunge to jump
5. Plank rows to over head db press
6. Rocky Sit ups Β (two punches with db)
+ Competition Burpees for the last 12 seconds
This hoody / sweater is amazing – I’ve been wearing it non-stop π and the shoes are really comfy.

I have a quick question. Is the diet bet workouts extra workouts for everyone in Zgym or is it for only diet bet challengers only? I wasn’t sure if I am supposed to do them along with the regular scheduled workouts even though I am not a part of the diet bet challenge. Anyway, anyone able to answer my question thanks ahead of time. XO

I am not doing the diet bet challenge. But if I feel up to it I will. So you can if you want. All it can do is make you look better! Lol π

Thanks for the reply Adriana. I’ve been doing both so far, but today I’m exhausted and only did the six:02 workout. I have a half marathon over the weekend and need as much rest as I can get. Cheers!!

Did 3 rounds. Very tired from a very long 14 hour day yesterday, so I skipped the DietBet. Great challenging workout! Took it a little easy since I am so tired. Only managed to whack myself in the kneecap once with the dumbbells during the deep squats.

Fun workout! I need to work on my crow planks. I loved the rocky sit-ups. Now, I’ll try for round 2!

I loved this workout and did it twice through. For some reason I’m really struggling with squat/quad exercises these days – I wonder if its because I don’t warm up enough for my morning exercise, or maybe aren’t hydrated enough? Basically my quads burn like crazy and I can’t maintain a squat position for any length of time during morning exercise. I find it much easier and less painful in the afternoons. Thoughts warriorz?

Hi J I was reading the other day some specialist article advising to workout in the afternoon when apparently we have the maximum athletic performance. I myself find it often difficult to exercise first thing in the morning because I am a bit stiff so I have to do a short w/o as a warm up before the workout planned for the day.
Even more in the mornings I could never do a full forward bend or leg split while in the afternoon / evening I’m more flexible.
To sum up although I am a morning person and like to wake up early and have plenty energy I think my body responds better to exercise in the afternoon. Kinda weird π Try both and see how you feel
All the best X

I think you should do your workout whenever you feel like you have the most energy. Hopefully you’ll find the time to workout in the afternoons.

Justine I was having a lot of trouble with sore legs and glutes too (especially while trying to master pistols!) I started using a roller for my leg muscles – actually it was a rolling pin for awhile haha, but now I have a muscle roller stick. A foam roller would probably do the same (I’ve never tried a foam roller) I use it before workouts to loosen muscles, afterwards to help prevent soreness, and sometimes in the evening when I feel stiff. Hope this info helps!

Thanks for the workout.. I felt like a boss at the gym. Sorry your trip was postponed:( I was thinking of how cool and inspiring/motivating it would be to all your warrior if you could from time to time βdaily vlogβ.. just to give us some raw, unedited footage of what you do, what you eat and when you exercise. Africa would be a cool place to βvlogβ. Just a thought π

I like this workout. Different. I also like the sneakers but I can’t find them on the Six02 website!

I tried to find a link to them, but they have like 500 different pairs.. It’s better to visit the actual store if you can.

cool combination!
Though, it was hard to shoot from crow pose to plank- mine weren’t as pretty and explosive as yours, haha π
I added 50 sec jump rope sets in between each of the exercise for an extra challenge and it was great!
I was very curious about Rocky sit ups, just because I love Rocky!!! I always workout with Rocky soundtrack- very motivating!!! I love this movie, cuz it proves that if we really, really want something, nothing can stop us and we can get it no matter what π
PS: nice clothes Zuzka, but I like you better in tight workout clothes- there’s no need to wrap yourself in big, loose pants if you have such a great body! π
Besides, I had an impression that this sack between your legs bothered you when working out π But I like the blue sweter!!!
You rule, Zuzi :*!

Haha no it did not bother me, but you think it looks like a huge diaper, and that’s ok π Glad you liked the Rocky sit ups I love the movie too.

Hey Zuzka!
I have a question, is there any workout you would suggest to even out strength on the weaker side of your body?
Even though I’m left handed, my left arms and legs are both way weaker than my right. To the point where only my right butt cheek will be really sore π , and when I do push ups I mainly feel it on my right arm.
I’m really trying to watch my Form, but I know I’m going to have to do some extra work on my left side as well so I’m equal. Thanks!
OH ACTUALLY ONE MORE QUESTION! SORRY!
I was also wondering… when I do burpees and I’m jumping back up… or when I’m trying to do deep squat my feet end up in a V instead of straight. | | Is this a flexibility issue?
