The Best Workouts For Abs
Fitness | May 27, 2014
Six pack abs is probably the most popular theme when it comes to fitness goals. It’s incredible how many people aspire to have shredded midsection and if not that, then at least having flat abs is definitely the goal. Bottom line, no one wants to have a muffin top. The good news is that it’s really not a rocket science and you too can reach your goal of having the waist line of your dreams. Here are my tips on the best workouts for abs and examples of exercises that are the best for activating your core (watch the video).
Also keep in mind that we are all different and while some people can eat whatever they want including an ice cream every night as long as they workout, others have to stick with low carb diet and watch their portion sizes in order to see any definition in their abs. I know it’s unfair, but look at it this way, at least you have more motivation to eat healthy and exercise more regularly. Ultimately, living a healthy lifestyle and being healthy is much better goal then any six pack you can dream of.

Dear Zuzka,
I really miss a helping video how to deal with muscle soreness. I made a hard workout at sunday and my legs and my ass are really hurting very bad… normally I should make the next workout today but I can not even go down to a squat without muscle pain… could you maybe make a video how to deal with this kind of pain and what for exercises I can do to heal it faster?
Thank you very much!

Delayed muscle onset syndrome happens to most of us every now and then! I had it in my shoulders two weeks ago! It is a good kind of pain! It should last only a few days and means you are improving . I found modifying zgym routine as needed and stretching helped. Also a nice run to get blood to those tiny muscle tears that need it so very much feels amazing. make sure you eat your protein and rest!

Thank you for this, I found it very helpful. I too recently destroyed my legs and can barely sit down on a chair. I even feel like my legs want to give out on me when I walk. I know in some ways its a good pain, but I have found it to be uncomfortable and people honestly think I have seriously hurt myself. So when I tell them its from a leg day workout, I’m slightly embarassed 😉 Gonna try a modified Z workout and just do what I can! Then going to soak in an epsom salt bath and relax.

It was so intense! I did this workout as an interval training: 1 minute intervals, no rest, 4 circuits of:
1. Jump Rope (different styles)
2. Jump Lunges
3. Competition Burpees
4. Leg Elevated Knee Tucks
5. Goblet Squats with 16 kg kettlebell.
Killer 20 minutes! Thanks a lot Zuzka!
