ZWOW #5
Fitness | January 13, 2015
Hi guys,
Here’s another one of the older ZWOW routines. This one is great for ALL LEVELS and really good for beginners. It’s quite easy and chill workout. I think it’s a great recovery routine that I’m sure you’ll enjoy after the past 2 days of high intensity training.
On another note, I was thinking about doing some new Coffee Talk videos and I was wondering if there’s anything you’d like me to discuss. I will appreciate any ideas and your suggestions.
Best,
Z.
Workout Breakdown:
1. Bicep curl to overhead press x 10
2. Med Ball mountain climbers x 30
3. Sumo Dead lift high pull x 10
4. Comp Burpees x 5

Cool Down & Stretching
12 minute AMRAP. Go through this circuit as many times as possible and don’t stop until the 12 minute countdown is up. What counts is the amount of reps total.

Hi Zuzka, first off I really enjoyed this easier workout today . It’s nice for a little change of pace and with regards to coffee talks; like most people are asking what is a sample menu of your day look like, what do you eat when u are still feeling hungry or need something? How has your diet changed in the past few years to get you even more leaner? What do u do and Jesse do on your spare time? Do u guys go out a lot to dinners? And how are u andi Jesse doing since the passing of Smallz? Is he feeling a bit better with each passing day?

Hi, Zuzka! Something I would like to get your input on for your next Coffee Talk would be on calorie deficit and surplus. I know you have mentioned before that you do not count calories and you follow a low carb diet. I was just curious about once one has reached a lower body fat percentage, when is it best to begin reversing one’s calorie intake? Basically cutting and building. I just am unsure if you can still do that same concept with your HIIT workouts since many weight lifters will cut and build. I do not count calories either, but I do have an idea on my macros and try to keep the calories around 1500 in total with the allotted macros. I basically follow a 40/30/30. Sorry if I am not making any sense… I have been following you for several years and have always wanted to ask this question. 🙂

I’d love to hear about some diverse nutrition strategies to accomplish health and fitness goals. Not every strategy works for every person, especially those of us who could eat a very large percentage of protein and still cannot gain muscle mass despite heavy weight training. Hearing about how the body evolves over time and how important it is to change what we eat to accommodate for it would also be helpful for a coffee talk.
Love the new workouts and site, too, by the way!!!

This was always one of my favorites from last year. Today was my personal best: 6 full rounds, 15 lb dumbbells, 20 lb kettlebell ( my Xmas present)!

Zuzka, you should do a coffee talk on how to spread the word about your site and your workout! You could ask your community to help you spread the word. I am sure there is a lot of people who don’t know you yet and they should!!

yeeeah! I’d LOOOOVE to see/hear coffee talks again! don’t mind which topic you wll talk about…. I’d prefere to hear what’s on YOUR mind 😉 you’ve already shared a lot of knowledge with us over the past few years…. – so at the moment I can’t think about anything which is missing. I’m looking forward to this “first” new coffee talk!! <3

Hi Zuzka! About the coffee talk, you mentioned once in a comment that you have had back problems and scoliosis if I remember right, and that you have used corrective exercises from the Egoscue Method. After reading that, I bought the PAIN FREE book and read it. But I would be very interested in knowing what exercises were the best for you and if you still do some of them. I think exercising in a way that can correct one’s posture and alignement would benefit many many people and needs more research. Personally I had a light scoliosis that appeared when I was teenager (and I guess I still have it) and my legs are a little bit X shaped when they are extended. Anyway, I find that topic interesting and am curious about other people’s experience!

This was one of my favorite z wows! I was going to try and find it on youtube again thinks for putting it up!!! I use to workout right when I wake up in morning but I don’t maybe an hour or two or three…So maybe talk about if that is better. I feel better and can do more if I do not eat first is that bad. Reading your metabolism post mine is slow and i am never really hungry is there advice or can you talk about that. Thank you.

Hi Zuzka did you ever do a video on Scoliosis? I believe you mentioned something about that.
