10 Minute Sexy Waves
Fashion & Beauty | November 23, 2014
Hi guys,
Leading up to the holidays, and getting ready for the New Years party, I thought I should ask one of the most sought after hair stylists in Hollywood, Jesse German, for some quick tips and tricks on how to make our hair evening ready in just a few minutes.
1. Place your hair in two high pigtails.
2. Split pigtails in four sections and use hairspray to make the hair easier to work with.
3. Curl or wand each section away from your face.
4. Cut rubber bands and shake out the hair. This way you won’t do any damage to your waves. Just don’t cut your hair…
5. Curl a few pieces right around the hairline, away from the face, to accentuate the look.
6. Spray with a dry texturizing spray and hairspray. I prefer UNITE texturizing spray, as it will give it a lived in bed head look and feel. And if you want to change it up later, you can put your waves into a high ponytail and createย a casual yet elegant way to dress up an outfit while still keeping it sexy and young.
P.S. You should be already wearing your outfit or something that you can take off easily without ruining your hairstyle. I realized that I was trapped in my exercise clothes and there was no way I could have taken it off without having to re-do everything at home. Oh well, at least now I know how to do it myself. Thank you Jesse!!

Do you have extensions in your hair? If so, can you talk a little bit about them? I keep contemplating getting them but I hear they’re expensive and can damage your hair when you have them removed. (?!?!)

I do have them. My are connected with little silicon beats that are just clipped on without using any heat. I have to go to the salon to have them removed, or if I wanted to remove them myself I would just have to use a lot of conditioner and rub it into the hair around the beats to make them just slip off. It’s a non-damaging method.

Thanks so much for the response! Do they last or do you have to go back regularly for “maintenance”?

Awesome job Jesse and you look awesome and stunning zuzka. I think the wavy hair is perfect on you. Thanks for sharing. I’m not sure if I can do this because my hair is already naturally wavy but I can experiment though and see what will happen. ๐
