2 Basic Steps For Perfect Complexion
Fashion & Beauty | August 09, 2014
I don’t mean to brag, but I do get compliments about my skin and complexion a lot. I believe that our genetics play an important role to a certain extent, however if you take a good care of your skin, it’s going to help a lot just like regular exercise and healthy diet. All those things combined can slow down the aging process, and reflect on your skin and complexion.
I believe in the very basics when it comes to skin care. Don’t go ever to sleep with your make up on, and use gentle peeling daily to get rid off all the make up, dust, and dirt your skin collects during the day. I’ve tried different products and right now I’m using Onsen. I wanted to show you how much of a dead skin and dust you still have on your body even after taking a shower and washing with regular soap.
So right after taking a shower I apply the Daily Choice Peel onto my dry skin, and leave the gel on to dry for about 15 seconds.
Then I massage the peel off with a circular motion and that’s when you start to see the dead skin coming off. It’s kind of gross, but if you want your skin to glow, you have to get rid off the old layer.
The second step is to apply the Milk Lotion Cleanser that will hydrate and soften your skin.
You can clearly see all the dirt that came off of my arm after I had a shower. That doesn’t mean that I don’t know how to shower, people. That means that daily peel is what really helps you to get clean. And it rhymes. If you take care of your face, neck, and cleavage like this every day, eat healthy and exercise, you’ll be very happy with they way you look. The reason why I’m mentioning neck and cleavage is because those are the parts of your body where your skin is very soft and sensitive and if you don’t start taking care of it now, it will become visible as you get older.
Here are the products from Onsen I’m using right now. It’s a luxurious brand, which is nice to treat myself with every once in a while, however, there are many other products of a high quality that are not as pricy. You just have to try and see what works for you.
Have a great day and I’ll see you soon!

Ouch that’s expensive! But those are some impressive results, and I fully agree that you can’t look clean and fresh until you get rid of the old. I will consider buying these….

Awesome! I love that you shared this with us, you do have amazing skin. I use a verry nice skin care line that’s expensive, but not as high as that. It’s also salon quality! But they don’t have the peeler like Onsen, I’ll have to look into getting some.

BTW, I can’t comment on your video about yoga pose. Don’t know why. I LOVE that pose. Makes me cry every single time. Don’t know why. Could be breakup with bf but not sure. I love all your vids. and tips. thanks Zits!

I use a product called Milk, it’s a nice soft cleanser for the end of the day, I tend to make my own facial scrubs and masks. But I have had the best skin using the least products possible as a moisturiser I definitely recommend Clinique’s Dramatically Different.

Milk is also good. I’ve tried it. It leaves your skin so soft.

I tried Onsen – cool product but it’s not for me. Sadly, no overall improvement after using for a while. I would recommend the Clarisonic instead (also pricey I’m afraid). It gave me really good results.

Maybe that product might be good but there are also awesome natural products with whom you get the same or maybe even better results, e.g. use a mixture of olive oil and sugar to peel your skin. Or, my favorite, rice bran, ground into a powder. Put a little bit of that powder into your palm, mix it with only a tiny amount of water and peel your skin with circular motions. This leaves your skin soft, refreshed and the vitamins in the bran (B and E) help you to get a glowing complexion.
And those products are all pretty cheap.
