3 Ways to Wear One Skirt
Fashion & Beauty | August 20, 2015
There are so many ways to wear your favorite skirt using the wardrobe pieces you already have and creating styles that you may have not even tried before. I did that with my old skirt from Free People that I love, but was getting bored wearing it. I digged through my closet and put together 3 different styles. Now it doesn’t feel like I’m wearing the same skirt if I change up the rest of the outfit.
1. Rock ‘n’ Roll Style
I’m wearing my oh so old Elvis / Andy Warhol tank top with open back from Pepe Jeans.
If you’re going for the Rock ‘n’ Roll look, I feel like shoes are everything. These cool heels are from Dolce Vita, and they go great with almost every outfit I have.
I don’t like when the back strap of my bra is showing, unless it’s on purpose and I wear a bra that is meant for that kind of style. I solved the problem with my open back tank top with a razor back sports bra.
My large magnetic bracelet from Guess has been sitting in my jewelry box for a long time, so I’m glad that now I have an outfit I can wear it with.
I really don’t like smiling when I know that someone’s taking pictures of me. I know I should smile more but it just feels really awkward…unless Como comes over and uses her kitty magic to make me smile.
2. Feminine Style
I find spaghetti strap tank tops to be really feminine.
Less is sometimes more. I don’t think this outfit needs anything else, do you?
Heels that don’t hurt my feet are hard to find, and I would never be willing to suffer in shoes just for the looks. These super feminine heels from MIA are perfect for this outfit and my feet.
3. Urban Style
This is the most comfortable outfit to wear.
I can wear these all day long.
I’m pretty sure I had a similar outfit when I was a teenager. That’s about 18 years ago…wow!
Juicy alway had the most soft and comfortable hoodies. I’ve been giving away some of my clothes on a regular basis to free up space in my closet, but I will never get rid off this hoody, because I wear it all the time and had it for years.
So which style was your favorite? Do you prefer to look more tough, feminine or like your teenage daughter? 🙂 haha. Let me know! XO Z.

I looove the shoes in the first outfit. Would buy them instantly. Not sure about the top and the skirt together. The second outfit suits you the best. You look very feminine and beautiful. The third outfit – you look like you were born to wear that top, so you are right never give it away. My favourite would be the second one:)

Love love outfit #3. So cute and so you! Chic and sporty! Love #2 for date night, super feminine. Not so crazy about #1 but love the idea of using a sports bra. I do the same thing with my outfits if my bra is showing.

You look great in all 3, but I think #2 is the most flattering and really shows off the skirt at it’s best!

Not gonna lie, I love all the outfits. But especially sneakers with skirt, but we are all sporty around here so maybe I’m biased…. Last pic is beautiful

You look great in all three outfits. 🙂 I personally like your first outfit the most, but that may be because it is more a long the lines of the style I like to wear. By the way, you have an awesome smile! I understand how you feel though. My smile is never as genuine when someone tells me to.
