Easy Summer Hairstyles

With summer being just around the corner, I’ve decided to share with you some new fun hairstyles that will give you a fresh beachy look. I got a great feedback from you on the Faux Bob and 10 Minute Waves I posted in the winter, so I went back to my friend Jesse and asked him to make me look pretty again 🙂 These two hairstyles are so easy to do, that you’ll need only a few minutes before you head to the beach, and rock your bikinis!
If you live in Los Angeles or you come for a visit, make sure to schedule an appointment with him, because he’s also an amazing colorist, and the most talented hairstylist I’ve ever met.
Messy Low Ponytail
1. Use a Unite dry texture spray on roots of day old hair and secure hair in a messy low pony tail.
2. Spray unite texture spray on ponytail ends.
3. Separate a small section and fishtail braid the hair.
4. Loosen fishtail braid and wrap around ponytail holder and pin.
5. Tease ponytail and spray with additional unite texture spray.
6. Add unite shine spray for a healthy finish.
French Summer Ponytail
1. Use 1” hair wand directing curls away from the face leaving ends out for a tossed and loose look.
2. Separate curls with fingers and use unite dry texture spray to add separation and hold.
3. Begin french braiding hair to one side at the nape of the neck.
4., 5., and 6. Just after you cross the center of the head twist the hair upwards a few times tightly to the back of the ear and use hairtie to secure into a low side ponytail.
7. – 11. Begin fishtail braiding the hair in a downward motion leaving a substantial amount out at the bottom. Secure with hair tie and wrap hair around the band and secure with pin.
12. Secure french braid with pins to anchor onto hair base.
13. French braid a small piece of fringe backwards towards side braid.
14. Secure into side braid with pins tucking ends into side braid.
15. Wand ends and spray with texture spray separating with fingers for a tossed look.

Not sure how easy that is for my fumble fingers, but they do look very nice. I have found a website that SUPER easy even for me hairstyle tutorial that maybe someone here would like too.

You’re so pretty that any style would suit you, Zuzka! Even the dark coloured hair you once had! I love the styles here especially the french plait!
