Outfit of the day - Chuck Taylors and Boyfriend Shirt
Fashion & Beauty | August 06, 2015
Sometimes it takes only one new piece for your wardrobe to make you want to wear the old attire you haven’t touched in months. My new Chuck Taylors made me want to wear my super old, ripped cut offs and front pocket boyfriend style white shirt. It’s comfy outfit for lounging on a hot summer day. And don’t you just love when your watch matches your pillows? Haha.
The right accessory makes all the difference just like these Daniel Wellington Watch with timeless nautical spirit. I might take them one day on my vacation when Jesse and I rent a catamaran with some friends in theย Caribbean (wishful thinking).
Talking about timeless, how many converse shoes do you have? Doesn’t everyone have a pair already? Why do we love them so much? Because their awesome!! This super white color makes my not so tan legs look really good, but I wonder how long will I be able to keep them this white and flawlessโฆ any tips?

Super cute Z… I throw my chucks in the wash, but only when they get really dirty, I don’t know how many washings they can stand but I’m sure its alot

Get rid of all animals, boyfriends, hobbies, etc.! Just kidding, chucks were my staple in high school, I was a product of the 90’s grunge era and I hated when they were brand new! I’m down to one last pair of black high tops and they are as old as the hills. Embrace the imperfections, and if you have trouble, re-read your last post regarding striving for perfection! ๐

Your legs look tan to me, but I have very fair skin!
I love Converse, but I actually don’t have a pair currently. It’s been a while, and I might have to remedy that.

I love my Chucks too ๐ I used to have white ones, but it broke my heart when I noticed every new stain on them ๐ So now I bought red ones, with uppers. They look good too, I love how cool they look with jean hot pants. However, they are ridiculously expensive, here in Poland, and, let’s face it- they wear out as fast as any other, cheaper sneakers. even though, I keep buying them for some reason ๐ It’s a kind of a toxic relationship, LOL. I don’t know how about the U.S, but here, they cost around $80, so (after a brief calculation) it’s like you would have to spend $240 for them. Ain’t it sick?
PS: I love Superstars (Adidas) too, I just can’t help it ๐
PS2: Zu, you look so cool and fresh, you could go for a yacht ๐

Yeah, in Czech republic it’s expensive too. Here you get them for $50. And $50 dollars here has a different value than $50 in Czech or Poland. I hear youโฆ

you look pretty as always.
I’m sure you heard it in the past but you’d look great even in a potato sack ๐
I remember my black chucks from school days – everybody wore them back in the day as school wear. We used to called them “buzerantovky”. I don’t know why… Haha. Teacher hated them because it wasn’t good for your feet to sweat whole day in it – teachers always insisted on flip flops or some kind of open toe shoes but we didn’t listen ๐
I’d wash your white chucks in a washing machine or spot clean them with regular foamy carpet cleaner spray and a rag – something like Resolve or something with nice fragrance added to it. Usually these sprays smell like chemicals…

LOVE chucks. I’ve been wearing them since I was 8. My whole family wears them. Recently my 11 year old daughter told me I am too old for them!! The nerve.
