Outfit Of The Day - Recycled Fashion

I’m really not a big spender when it comes to clothes, but I do love fashion. Some might say that those two characteristics don’t go hand in hand, but I believe that if you’re willing to be open minded and creative, you can put together pretty good outfits by shopping in stores with recycled fashion. My go-to store is Crossroads.
It’s been a hot summer here in L.A. so I’ve been wearing shorts a LOT.
These shoes are from a brand called Bamboo. Not very well known, but very affordable, and these particular flats, are comfortable enough for long walks around the city.
I bought this hat in BCBG last winter. Jesse actually picked it for me, but then I decided to cut about 2 inches off the brim because I didn’t like how wide it was around my head. I wore it for a dinner with friends once, and I couldn’t even give them a hug without poking them in the face with that huge hat. Now he thinks the hat he got for me is ruined and looks like something you would see on a scarecrow 🙂 haha.
My iPhone 5+ has a new case, that allows me to also carry my driver’s license and bank cards.
It has a neutral grey color that goes almost with every outfit.
Reading books on my Kindle is easier with this case.
And so is watching videos or Face-timing.
The necklace and the t-shirt were only about $10 in Crossroads, but you can certainly find similar items online:

Hey, if a guy buys something and you modify it he might feel a bit bummed about it. Besides it does look worn and floppy. Still the whole outfit together looks good so hey he will live. It is just now on we get to call you Scarecrow or maybe Munchkin (as it makes more sense with your short legs and all)! 😀

Gray is the best color. My favorite. It flatters any skin color and tone. Love the flowy, off the shoulder look, Z!

I also own several Bamboo sandals. They are ridiculously well made and comfortable. It’s crazy how inexpensive they are. Their fake leather items are of such nice, soft quality, and rarely do they every rub or hurt my feet. Every pair I’ve ever bought has lasted me and not one has broken or worn down yet.
