Summer Dress and Boots
Fashion & Beauty | June 20, 2014
I don’t like to experiment too much when it comes to my wardrobe and I tent to wear pretty much the same style of clothes ever since my mom stopped buying clothes for me. Thank god that’s over… I still remember how much my best friend and I have suffered whenever our moms dressed us up for school. I mean common, I know we were just kids in an elementary school, but that’s probably the worse place and time to be making fun of. When you’re an adult, the pressure is pretty much gone because no one will let you and your friends know that your khaki’s are hideous. Unless you post a selfie on your social media of course. Only then you can expect an honest opinion of your peers.
Anyways, so I decided to change it up a little and dress like a girl for once. I never wear dress. I mean never. Maybe twice or three times a year if I go out for fancy dinner and that’s it. Skirt? Forget it. I own one skirt, wore it once and I will never wear it again, but it’s still in my closet for some reason. I just don’t feel comfortable in typical girly clothes. That’s why I couldn’t go all the way girly and instead of heels or sandals, I decided to wear boots.
Do you still remember what were your parents making you wear as a kid? What was the thing you despised the most? For me it was a flower pattern scarf that I had to wear on my head and it was tied under my chin. It made me look like a baby grandma. Today of course I would go AWWWWW if I saw that scarf again, and my eyes would probably tear up as I would be reminded of my childhood.

Hey Zuzana, Thank you very much for the inspiration and motivation you give us. I am a big fan of you and your work. It has been a great pleasure to watch you teach and grow since Prague until today. For me, I have always thought I was a tough guy athlete, but exercise has evolved and changed. You have been able to help me see new ideas and great information. This has helped me become healthier and a better athlete. Bless you and keep you well. Have a great weekend. Ken. Atlanta, GA

you have aweso0me legs for a dress but as you say you more comfortable not wearing it. I am very much like you – very seldom wear dress or skirt unless for an occasion. And i never show my legs – not as sexy as yours.

Does anyone else actually have a mother that would THROW AWAY clothes for you?
When I was younger (and even today), it never came to my mind to think about what to wear. Give me Jeans, a shirt and sneakers, thanks. I HATE going shopping, so I cling to my clothes (I have years-old jeans and jackets…). However, when I still lived with my parents, my mother used to secretly throw away some of my old clothes. I mean, a jacket might have a hole or two, but I would have still worn it to school… I never understood that.

I agree you could show your legs off more they have become fantastic! Very cool calm look on your face in a dress, just good righteous and perfect feminine touch. I confess to missing haul videos but like the section too. About time for self attention! you finally are celebrating all the hard work inside and out. So all the best! and more! more encore’

You look so nice Zuzka! I like dresses but I never wear them. I own 2 skirts and I have owned them since I was 16! I like to wear them around the house, or swimming! I really need to go shopping though and find some clothes i really like. Maybe a new dress!I remember once my step mom did my hair for Easter pictures. She did this poof thing to her bangs, so she thought me and my other sisters should have the same look. I was so mad because I thought the poof bangs from the 80’s was not the cutest look. She insisted, and did my hair, I did not have a good day. hahahaha.

In grade 4, my mom bought me two matching tracksuits. One all red, one all green. I’d wear the red one on Monday, then the green one on Tuesday, on Wednesday I’d wear the red top with the green pants and then on Thursday, the green top with the red pants. On Friday I’d fake sick and stay home so people would stop wishing me a Merry Christmas.
In my mom’s defense, she really likes matching shit.

You look so pretty! With this pink boots, you remind me of Kimberly form Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. She would always wear a dress with boots so she could fight Puddies.
