Workout Routine

You don’t need to warm up for this workout, it’s a low impact bodyweight routine using just an exercise ball and a chair. If you feel like you’re having a hard time with the legs elevated exercises on the ball, you can always move the ball under your thighs to decrease the challenge. The plank knee tucks and push ups won’t be as hard that way. This is just a bonus workout, don’t forget to do your full length training in the ZGYM!

Workout Breakdown

swiss ball

1. Knee tuck leg lift knees to chest x 10 alt.

2. Legs elevated push up (x3) / Froggers (x 3) x 5

3. Step up / leg lift x 10/10

4. Ballerina backward lunge / one leg squat x 10/10

    Nice Zu…this one is done as warm-up to abs inferno. Nice one…it took me out of breath! Done in 5:56. See you all, take care.

    Great rest day wo! Took me longer than 5 mins. I kept losing my balance on the exercise ball. Someone could have gotten a pretty good laugh watching me. Happy Day!

    Hey Zuzka,

    I know that in the past you have taken on some exercise challenges that your followers have posted. Recently my internet was down and I didn’t have much time for a workout. I decided to take a quick dip in the pool and do a few laps, but what I did instead was a pool tabata which I thought maybe Zuzka would like. Here’s how it goes:

    8 rounds of 20/10 – You go to the deep end of the pool and you basically submerge your self from the neck down. You bicycle your legs and arms, basically treading water as fast as possible for the 20 seconds and then rest for 10. You are going to need to hold on to the wall during the rest period because the burn is intense.

    Hopefully you will give it a try. I named that workout “Treadbata” : ) Best regards.

    It has been over a year since you last did a kettlebell workout (from the Kettlebell Series). Is there any plan to continue the series? 🙂

      Eventually, but you’re more than welcome to go back to those older routines whenever you want. You can create your own weekly workout schedule.
