New to my workouts?

Perhaps you’ve tried gym memberships before or even a personal trainer but nothing stuck, this can easily be done in just a small amount of space in your home with access to basic equipment like dumbbells and a jump rope (both optional, you can use soup cans or laundry detergent bottles for hand weight if you don’t have access to dumbbells yet).
The CARDIO & STRENGTH STARTER PROGRAM in ZGYM is a 12-week program for people who are just starting out on their fitness journey. This program can help you stay structured and consistent, lose weight, get more lean, gain functional strength and build endurance.
You should have at least a basic understanding of exercise, if you’ve never worked out before perhaps start with the free Bunny Slope Beginner Series and then progress to the Cardio & Strength Starter.
Each workout has a progress tracker which helps you keep informed on your progress and helps you to continuously improve your fitness level. Every workout represents a challenge which turns your training into an addictive game instead of a chore. Customized dashboard will help you through the program where you can also compare your scores to Zuzka and the ZGYM community. This method doesn’t just keep you consistent with your training, it’s also the most efficient way to lose weight, build muscles, or/and improve your over all conditioning.

I’ve only done two workouts from the ones available on YouTube, but I’m hooked! I almost want to cancel my gym membership and just pay for this instead! Too bad I agreed to a three year contract $65 a month T_T best gym I’ve ever been to but I want to try zgym… I think they’ll let me put it on hold for a month or two, I will look into it.

I really appreciate this! I’m very new to this, had bought your zcut DVD series (both cardio and strength), and I was pumped to get in shape, and had gotten really disheartened when I ended up collapsed on the living room floor because although the mind is willing, my muscles were just giving out on me. While I’ve given up in the past, this time I’m not going to, and so I signed up for zgym, and swore I’d get in good enough shape that the DVD series don’t seem like such an obstacle. Thanks for the beginner advice, and I look forward to more of your beginner workouts!

Great post! so nice! I can’t wait for the easy-to-follow cardio series. That is my problem, biggest and most often obstacle not being able able to follow the workouts: Endurance!

I’m not longer a begginer, but when I started to follow you I was returning to workout after almost three years off, and I had overweight, but now I’m like you promess “in the best shape of” my “life”. Although when I started I pushed myself to complete the workouts doing the all the reps you do, even if I took longer, so my goal was to be able to reach your time and I think that if there is some time to do so, is a good approach to your system or it isn’t? I would like to know if there is some cons to that or is just the time issue you address in the post. From my experience I can tell it works. After a while I could do every single wo -the free ones on youtube, the ones from your DVDS and the ones from your first Zgym- at the same pace as you do them, and from time to time I’m able to beat your time closely or even with surprising difference. Anyway I recommend your page here in Colombia to every person I know that want to get in shape or is already in shape but wants to try something differente than a gym or is gettingo into something that would lead to tight schedules :). Yet the most problematic issue is English, so there very few that have been actually linke to your page 🙁 I’ll be glad to help with subtitles or voice over one day if any….
