Hey guys, how do you like my new background? We’ve already started the process of moving to our new house and I couldn’t resist to shoot this workout outside by the pool 🙂

Each exercise in this quickie is going to target your core, abs, and upper body. The Pistols and the jumping part of the Burpee will also tackle your legs, so get ready for a serious cardio. It’s a perfect way to raise up your heart rate, and activate your muscles without getting exhausted. This short burst of exercise will give you energy and release the happy hormones for at least a few hours! There is really no reason for you to skip this workout 😉 Have fun!

1. Reverse push ups (or bend over rows) x 5

2. Pistol Squats (you can use weights) x 4

3. Weighted Burpees x 5

    Yowza! It is quite green and so jealous thinking you get to enjoy this everyday! now you have to shoot outside all the time. And no excuse for a Z special in the pool. Most people get to enjoy swimming pool during vacation and workout in the water can be effective… But a la Zuzka is even better: give us your take… Summer Fitfriday

    Longest 5min workout ever!! Completed 4 rounds + 4 pistols of round 5. Did body rows (using perfect pull-up bar set to lower bar & bench to bring my feet up), and used 12.5lbs dumbbells through all rounds!!! No modifications. :). Those last rounds of pistols were killer.

    Zuzka, will you add the dipstation in the “search” tool “by equipment” ? I am using the TRX as alternative and easier to find workouts that will match my equipment when I carry the TRX with me (during travelling or at work over lunchbreak). thanks a lot.

    Zuzka, I have a non-workout related question!! I just bought a house with a pool…I want to save some $$$ and do the pool maintenance myself. Do you maintain your pool or do you have a pool service? Once we move in, I can do my workouts poolside just like you!!
