Hey guys, how do you like my new background? We’ve already started the process of moving to our new house and I couldn’t resist to shoot this workout outside by the pool ๐Ÿ™‚

Each exercise in this quickie is going to target your core, abs, and upper body. The Pistols and the jumping part of the Burpee will also tackle your legs, so get ready for a serious cardio. It’s a perfect way to raise up your heart rate, and activate your muscles without getting exhausted. This short burst of exercise will give you energy and release the happy hormones for at least a few hours! There is really no reason for you to skip this workout ๐Ÿ˜‰ Have fun!

    Hi Zuzka,
I’m still new to your zgym but I want to start posting more. I complete 4 rounds today. That did not include full pistols though. I had to use a chair behind me. Do you know of a good tutorial to teach me how to do these safely without injuring my knees?
    Best, Cindy

    Hi Zuzka and Warrior!!!
I do not know if it is the right way to address my question but I do not know better. I am a runner and at the moment I am on a plan to run 21 km (it is not my first half but yet it is a much improve training) and the thing is that itยดs being so difficult to keep up with the zgym schedule and because most of the days it has a lot of cardio wich I do and a lot on my daily routine.
I run five days of the week and it is the intention to do the harder workouts on the days of harder runs to have full days of recover. I didnยดt try to do it before I run but it will help a lot some of your advise.

    Thank you in advance, xoxo

        Hi Daniela,
how to combine both zgym schedule and my running plan? Doing legs and cardio in my rest days is not the ideal. And doing it on my running days is just to hard to do it after my running and I do not want to burnt myself out. Today I am trying to do it before.and see how it turns out.
If someone have some advice, it will be most welcome!
        Thank,

How may miles or Kilometers a day do you run? I you run 10 km every day for exampla..why can’t you make it 5km every other day and then add a cardio workout from the zgym…on days when you do the Long distances you make some of her strength workouts….for examples, the one for beginners are really good..to make it harder all you would Need to do is add weight and maybe Speed. What might be interesting is to split the 5km and do 2,5km then the Z-Workout and then another 2.5km. I probably couldnt help you really, I am not a Trainer…but I just throw in some ideas ๐Ÿ˜‰

So I did this with my 13 lbs dumbbells, and it was super difficult! I didn’t want to change to one dumbbell for the pistol squats. I simply pushed through, even if I slowed down. It was harder than I expected! I also did the pull ups with fully extended legs….which is hard…

I was a little sore from an hour long class of aerial rope and also some kickboxing yesterday….:)

3 rounds and all reps of 1, 2, and 4 reps of #3 in 5 minutes

I did another 5 minutes and did a total of 5 rounds and all reps of exercises 1,2 and 2 reps of #3.

    Challenging!

    Thank you Zuzka! Great workout.
