This workout was so intense that I couldn’t keep up with how many rounds I did. If you’ve been experiencing the same thing, don’t worry, there’s nothing wrong with you. It just means that you’re really pushing yourself which is awesome. I suggest you to use some efficient counting method like having a bunch of coins on one side of your exercise mat and each time you complete a full round, you move one coin to the other side. It’s the fastest counting method I’ve ever done, because it doesn’t require any thinking. It’s just a quick move with your hand to push a coin away from you. If you have any other tips or suggestion on how to count reps and rounds effectively during the workouts, please let us know in the comments.

Workout Breakdown

5 minute AMRAP

1. Jump Tuck x 5

*an easier modification would be jump squat and low impact would be weighted squat

2. Criss Cross Commando Push Ups x 4

*an easier modification would be plank criss cross knee tucks (no push ups)

3. Plank jump to squat (x2) Knee hugs (x2)

* an easier modification would be jumping your feet forward when you’re in the plank, leaving your hands on the ground and low impact modification would be 2x plank knee tuck instead of each jump so 4x alternating knee tucks.

Awesome wo Zuzka! I did twice. The second time around I replaced with weighted jump squat, I used 45lb KB – Beast ;-).
First round, I completed 12R than the second time with the KB, I completed 10R + 5 KB j Squats. Yay! Happy Friday! xoxo

Is there a typo on the last exercise? Says to perform the exercise 4 x’s, but I am pretty certain you did it once through in the video. 🙂 thanks!

I have a workout room in my basement that I painted completely black…even the floor. I watch your workout of the day and write it down on my wall using chalk. I count my rounds the same way…just using a line with the chalk for one round.

Hi Melanie, nice to know about your room. Can you share some pictures with me? I would like to see it…did you put some gym equipment there? See you, take care!

I’ll take some today and see if I can post some. All my equipment is in it, but it’s minimal. Like kettlebells and stuff that we use on a daily basis here. I don’t want a lot in there because it’s the perfect size to work out in. My only issue is in the Winter…we have a wood furnace that is next to my room and when it’s in use it gets quite hot down there….it makes me sweat even more. But on the flip side; it’s nice and cool in the Summer!!!

If you could share it with me on facebook by message or by e-mail it would be good…my name there is same Fernanda Desai and email is ferffs@hotmail.com…see you, take care.

Loved the intensity of this wo. I’ll try using coins. Good idea. Seems like the easiest & most convenient idea. Happy Friday! Thank you Zuzka for your inspiration 💗
