Hey guys,
Today’s workout is focusing on upper body and abs and I want you to give it a try and not get discouraged by the first exercise. Watch the beginning of the video to see the easier modification for the dynamic push up and don’t be afraid to give it a try. I’ve been thinking today how awesome it is to see how many women of all ages are now interested in fitness and getting strong. It wasn’t like this when I was growing up, and I’m glad that we now know that age is just a number and that it’s never too late to become a strong, and confident woman. If you’ve been working out with me for a while and you’re over 30 please leave me a comment below and let everyone know how much you love your training. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one over 30 that has fun working out 🙂

same here, I will turn same age, but in a few months. The rooftops were in Malta. I discovered later (Prag), but had nearly watched all the vids she had on youtube at the time. What a progression Z made since back then.

OK well I might as well join you in. I am 41 years old with 4, children and have been following zuzka for some years as well. In great shape and would never half the exercises I do now of course if it was not for zuzka.

I have been working out with Zuzka for a little over 3 years now. I’m a 33 year old mom. I used to be a gym rat. Once I became a mom, I just didn’t have time to spend 1-2 hrs in the gym everyday. I love being able to work out at home in the morning before the rest of my family wakes up. I love Z’s workouts because they are not boring and I always look forward to what is coming next. I’ve already got several other friends hooked on zuzkalight.com! I hope you never stop training Zuzka!

I love reading all the various comments, especially from moms! I’m an almost-35 year old SAHM of 2 and have been working out with Zuzka for years. I’m trying to focus on sticking with her schedule as opposed to doing more (though I do teach Jazzercise 3 days a week) so that I don’t overdo it. Do you (and anyone else on here) double up on workouts or follow her schedule pretty closely? Thanks!

Some days I add a little more to the end of the workouts depending on how much time I have. My current goal is to get my body fat % a little lower, so I try to add a little more weights on some days or add sprint intervals on other days.

I think a lot of women actually find fitness in their 30s. I started working out with Zuzka in my late 20s. I’m now 35 and can do things fitness-wise my 25 year old self would never think possible.

Started working out in my late 20s too!
It’s been 2.5 years that I’m following Zuzka and I also put together my own workouts when I feel like it, but I pick my favorite exercises from her! 🙂
Even if I’m overweight, I’m far stronger, fast, agile and ripped than at 25 y.o.

I’m 35, have 4 kids and have been with Zuzka for a year. Spent years in a gym doing body pump and eventually I started looking around and realizing that all of us ladies had been coming to that gym every day for 5 years, doing the same classes and we all looked exactly the same -after 5 years. I jumped ship and went to crossfit but that just wasn’t for me. A lot of bulky women telling me crossfit wouldn’t make me bulky…. From there I went to a guy in town who trains figure competitors. He was a meathead and I couldn’t stand taking my baby to his dirty gym and the diet he put me on was making me fat. During this time I stumbled upon Zuzka. She had the body I wanted so I signed up. For the life of me I can’t figure out why everyone isn’t a zgym member. I workout for a short time everyday and get to have a bikini ready body all year long. 🙂

I love all the posts from moms! I’m almost 35 (in 5 days!), have 2 kids, am a SAHM and though I teach Jazzercise I’ve been loving and doing Zuzka’s workouts since her BodyRock days. They made me realize that I don’t have to spend even an hour in the gym (or have a gym membership!) to stay fit and lean. I’m curious to know how many of you on here follow her workout schedules or add in workouts? Do you generally just do one a day or add Power Yoga and additional exercises?

I turned 35 in Feb. 🙂 I’ve always been pretty active, but the workouts here have definitely had my muscle definition really take off!! I originally found Zuzka in…let’s just say the “old days” (though I wasn’t as consistent then). I re-discovered Zuzka once she was doing her own thing and was SUPER-excited!!! It was juuuuuuuust a few months before the launch of the Z-Gym. I was doing the workouts more like 3 times a week then until the launch (Something like 2014?) and have been addicted! I’ve been better at sticking to the schedules (though the past several weeks, I’ve been swapping things around on the schedule so that I can enjoy outdoor endurance workouts sprinkled into the mix! 😀 )
Even with being an active person all my life, I feel like I’m in better shape in my 30s than ever before! 😀

I’ll be 42 in June and have been working out with Zuzka for just shy of a year. I’ve been an active exerciser for the last 13 years. (Minus the 10 months after having my son when I used the “I just gave birth” excuse. Let me just say when I put on 10 lbs after the first 2 weeks after I stopped breast feeding that excuse was put to bed real fast!) I love Zuzka’s workouts!!! I never get bored and every muscle in my body gets challenged! She’s the best!!!!

I started by working out with Tiffany Rothe in ’12,excellant beginner fun short workouts, then I discovered you Zuzka,I was drawn to your ZWOW’s,they were fun, effective & short.I joined your new ZGym november ’14 & eagerly await the new workout schedule.I’ll be 49 in 3 weeks time & I have an amazingly lean body, strength & endurance. I never have had a ridiculously lean body like I do now, ever in my 20′ or 30’s!! I was a little overweight after I had my son, then I became skinny,in fact too skinny! I’ll never go back to being skinny or overweight! I don’t want a thigh gap either,I want keep my toned abductor muscles & I don’t want my collar bone to protrude no more,I want to see my pec muscles instead!
My inspiration to stay in shape for as long as I can is 74 yr old Ernestine Shepherd (Body Builder).
