Hey guys,

Today’s workout is focusing on upper body and abs and I want you to give it a try and not get discouraged by the first exercise. Watch the beginning of the video to see the easier modification for the dynamic push up and don’t be afraid to give it a try. I’ve been thinking today how awesome it is to see how many women of all ages are now interested in fitness and getting strong. It wasn’t like this when I was growing up, and I’m glad that we now know that age is just a number and that it’s never too late to become a strong, and confident woman. If you’ve been working out with me for a while and you’re over 30 please leave me a comment below and let everyone know how much you love your training. I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one over 30 that has fun working out 🙂

3. Side Plank lift (x2) to plank side knee tuck / plank side kick x 5/5

    Hi,

    I’m Susan & I am 33 years old. I was a long-distance runner for many years but have switched to more weight training and high-intensity workouts. I have gained a bit of weight because I was used to eating tons of carbs as a runner. Changing my diet is very challenging but I’m working on it.

    I love these workouts! The variety is really great & Zuzka is so positive. Her recipes are great too!!

    Hi Zu and friends….everybody here is over 30! That is great…I will be 38 in August! But this age is just a number…come on…I feel better and more in shape now than when I was 25! 🙂 And I am following Zgym just for one year and half but my six-packs is almost done…hahaha… I am skipping this one today because I had MT class in the morning. I did 29 M burpees and 30 min yoga. Hope to do this cool workout soon! See you and a great weekend to everybody!

    I posted a short note yesterday because Zuzka asked all 30+ ZGYM members to leave a comment. I wouldn’t have thought at the time what a powerful collection of comments my humble post would contribute to. Girls (or should I say Wonderwomen :-)), you are all so amazing! I am touched and I’m so honoured to be part of such a solid and dedicated community. I’m pretty sure we made Zuzka super proud with displaying our achievements, satisfaction, loyalty and gratefulness.
    I love the mature messages radiating from the posts, like Zuzka advocating healthy and strong (not skinny), and that we’re role models to our children. I have a step daughter, who’s turning 13 in June and who’s surrounded by peers who think that pretty=skinny so they don’t eat, therefore to me it’s very important to show her what real pretty is, i.e. healthy, strong, confident ;-). It’s been part of her life since she was little to see that both my husband and I try to juggle our busy schedules so that we can fit in a half hour HIIT session (including warm up and cool down) and now she sometimes asks me to work out together without me prompting it, which is an amazing feeling of achievement in itself. It is a great responsibility to bring up a child passing down the right set of values and priorities and wellness is one of ours.
    Like some of you, I must admit, however disciplined I am when it comes to my daily workout, I’m not so good at watching my diet, but I make sure I don’t eat (too much ;-)) evil snacks, I drink alcohol in moderation and have lean meats, fish, soups and salads as often as I can. I guess as long as I feel good and I don’t get disgusted by the reflection looking back at me from the full size mirror, I am fine. I’d much rather have a less athletic look and higher body mass index than feel guilty about the odd fish and chips or Chinese take away ;-).

    Hi!!! I’m turning 32 yrs old this year July. I’ve been following Zuzka’s workout since 2010….but I started doing Crossfit Dec 2013. I will do Zgym if I cannot make i to the Crossfit.
    I love Zuzka workout. She really change my life.
    I was not able to do a single push up or pistol before but hey..now I can do it.
    Thank you Zuzka for the awesome workout. You are Amazing!!!!

    Hi Zuzka! I’m 38 and I have working out with you since February 2014. Have to say, but thanks to You and your effective workouts I’ve never been in this shape before in my life. And good shape! Your workouts gave me that body what I’ve been dreaming all my life. Training with weights at the gym, aerobic classes, running, swimming – not of those never gave me the results I wanted. So I’m very happy that I found you. I also love your attitude, and your happy and smiling personality, so it’s more then fun to do these workouts with you. Even I had a long day at my work, or I didn’t slept well one night, I’m still ready to do your workouts everyday, because they make me feel so much better and they give so much energy. Thank you, this is just something I love <3 You are the best!

    Hi, I am 54 years and have been exercising for most of them and zuska is by far my favorite and most challenging to date. I am never bored and am always feeling great and satisfied when finished with each workout. Keep it coming!

    I’m 38. I’ve been working out with Zuzka (I still want to call you Zuzana) since 2009. You have a great presence that I’m comfortable with. When you were gone from youtube I struggled and then when you came back as Zuzka light I was thrilled. I’ve had 2 more kids since then and I always go back to Zuzka.
