I try to make every round number more special, because it’s like a little anniversary for this series. We broke #70 which is huge and we should celebrate it. If you like to party, get into your workout gear and do this routine with me. I promise you won’t have fun, and you’ll be dead by the end of the 5 minute count down. Isn’t that why you love these workouts so much though? I know I do so I made sure, that this one really delivers the goodies.

    Hi Fernanda – from Brazil
Enjoy your free day!!! Good for you that you did more than this workout- it was so intense, it’s all I did. What are 43 M burpees? Just new to the zgym so I’m trying to learn what everything is. Hope you don’t mind me asking.
    Thanks, Nan

Welcome! I hope you have as much fun here as we all do! 😀

About the M burpees… there’s a very sweet, enthusiastic ZGym member (Magda) who’s been going through a very rough time with surgery complications (She talks about it in the comments on this post: https://zuzkalight.com/nutrition/lets-talk-turmeric/#comment-64293). Many of us do extra burpees (and have dubbed them M-burpees) in thinking of her.

Thank you Christin, what a good reason to name a burpee after such a sweet person like Magda! What a wonderful community that zuzka has started here. Thanks for posting ❤️😍🙌🏼

I don’t think I’ve ever written anything before but I just read the comments to and from Magda. I have been following Z since 09 and am not sure what it is or why I feel better about everything after a techno visit and/or workout with her. I think maybe her good soul shines thru even on devices. Magda you keep going strong and we will keep you in our thoughts prayers and wishes. What a special ‘village’ you have created here Z.

SO I did this workout in Vietnam in my apartment there! I decided to make it a 15 min AMRAP. I was also really jetlagged and exhausted from 18 hours of travel, starting at 1 am, with barely any sleep on the plane…ugh…but I didn’t want to nap because I wanted to make my body adjust to the new time zone and go to sleep in the evening…

So I decided to workout instead!

A bit of advice to travelers who don’t already know this: yoga mats make great protection in a backpacking backpack! I folded mine up and inserted it so that it hugged the inside perimeter of the backpack, with the rest of my contents inside. Not only was I able to fit my yoga mat in my backpack this way, but it created a nice buffer, and nothing broke or leaked. Yay!

Completed 2 rounds and all of exercises #1, 2 in 5 minutes. In 15 minutes I completed almost 6 rounds and 10 reps of #1. Yeesh. This workout was super intense and also really great after being in a seated position on my planes for what seemed like forever.

I also used my TRX trainer and my heaviest band to do a 10 min workout alternaing hamstring/glute curls and kneeling raises to kneeling side raises with the band, because I don’t have any weights with me. It was definitely effective. Workout equipment that offers resistance is really valuable for travel!

    I also did this worko

      *Correction
In 15 min, total 6 rounds and 10 reps of #1. Not “almost 6”.

That was crazy HARD! An X for me! Wow! Completed 1 full round + 1 wheel push-up (80reps?). That killed me. Split jumps and wheel push-ups definitely slowed me down.
