I really pushed myself, but managed to do 2 rounds 4 burpees (
Back in 2012 did 3 round and 6 pistols. I want to prove myself better – tomorrow..

Holy moly, this was a hard 10. I did four rounds and 2 pistols. I kept falling on my butt at bottom.

Last year I could only go down to my couch’s armrest when I tried a pistol squat. Now I can go down to my child’s ikea chair. I am almost there! Persistence, technique, hard work and support has gotten me here. I WILL do a pistol squat one day and I will do it well!!

wow. That one had my chest burning. I oddly found the low jacks to be the most challenging while trying to catch my breath! I did regular alt. pistols because I was losing my form too much with the switch and worried I was going to hurt my knees/ankles.. but I did try a few switches in between. I just barely kept up with you Z. ๐ Great ZWOW. After shower and food replenishing- I’ll do my butt series homework while finishing up a movie I’ve been intermediately watching this past week..never have time to sit down through a whole movie but always time for the ZGYM!. ;-D

A long workout day for me! I started with the homework, added 50 KB swings before the workout, swapped pistols for raised heel squats and the burpees for regular push-ups(my legs can’t take the burpees after the low jumps) and did 4 rounds. Finished off with another 50 swings, then did AB #6 and then JRC #2 (I always feel so energized after an AB workout!) and now I am very ready for a shower, perfect end of the work week! ๐

WHEW!!! Completed 3 rounds + 7 dynamic burpees of round 4. Couldn’t quite keep up with Z, that little jump switch at the bottom of the pistol killed me! I actually fell flat on my butt for one of them! But really, who cares? I’m just proud that I can do regular unassisted pistols now! Been following you for a couple years now Zuzka and I love the strength and power that your workouts provide!
BTW – my old score was 3 rounds + exercise #2 of round 4 (and that was doing assisted pistols – with no bottom switch). Definite improvement!!!

Yay! I did 4 rounds and 4 reps of #1. ๐ ๐ It was fun.
Thank you, Zuzka, for posting about warming up. I have slacked on that. And your 2 minute one is perfect. No excuse not to. I definitely noticed how much better I did in this workout than I would have if I hadn’t done some dynamic warming up.
I also like how you emphasize that it doesn’t take that long to simply rotate some joints and perform light ROM exercises to get started. ๐
I wrote your warm up routine on a little card and posted it on my tackboard so that I can just look at it really fast before a workout. It’s also way faster than the warm up routine we do in my handstands and aerial classes. More convenient.

OMG I believe i did the pistol squats right! I had to help myself a little bit going up but man my strength is getting better and better! 2 weeks in and I thank you Z! LOVE YOUR WOS!

I ALMOST have the pistol squats, but I still have to hold my foot in order to make it. (But I sure feel the burn, still!) I needed a little stabilizing to get the switch right, too. I made 4 rounds and through the pistols and low jacks of the 5th round. Burned 171 calories.
Moved directly to the LB homework and finished off at 279 calories.

Revisited this one today and beat my best! 4 rounds, then pistols, low jacks, and 5 burpees! Burned 197 calories.
I tacked on Power Yoga 22 to the end of it and finished with 340 calories.
