Warning: This workout is extreme. I’m not kidding, this is a hard one and I absolutely loved how I felt when I finished the last exercise. You’ll get the most incredible high from this workout, and if there’s anything you need to get out of your system, I can guarantee you that this ZWOW will serve you very well to get the job done. I don’t ever drink alcohol when I’m sad about something. I can never do it, because I’m scared I’ll end up like my father, but I do use working out to get into the state of mind that gives me more clarity. That’s probably why I always leaned towards hard workouts that would completely wipe me out and wouldn’t let me think about anything. I hope you’ll enjoy this workout and won’t let anything bring you down this week!

 

Warm Up Routine

Workout Breakdown:

1. weighted jump squats x 5

JR 30 sec

2. Twisted push up toe touch 5/5

JR 30 sec

3. KB Swing x 15

JR 30 sec

4. Burpee jump tuck x 20

5. Pendulum x 50

3 rounds for time. I thought I could do it below 20 minutes, but no chance this time. It’s still a goal of mine for the future. Can you do it?

    Today, January 17, I did this workout. My time was 17:11 minutes included 30 seconds after the first full round and then also 30 sec. after the second full round. I did the 3 full rounds. 😀

    I workout with Kettlebells regularly and right now I’m in the middle of a program that will take me to 10 minutes long cycle, (clean & press), with 2 16kg kettlebells. I needed some extra stuff to do on my off days and over the past few months I’ve added in jump rope as a practice. I tried your Intermediate Jump Rope workout earlier in the week Zuzka and it was great. Now on my other ‘off’ day I tried this one and it seriously kicked my a$$. I used a 32kg bell for the swings in the first round but adjusted down to 24kg in the second, realizing that cumulatively this workout is VERY taxing.

    I must confess that I was only able to do 2 rounds. Round 1: 9:54. Then I needed 1 minute rest. Round 2 9:48, (got better at the toe touch twist pushups!). I was completely wiped afterward! I mean, this is supposed to be an ‘off’ day for me. 😀 I’m going to shoot for adding in the third round next time and either eliminate, (or shorten), the rest between rounds. I have my work cut out for me.

    had to do this one today, as I’m away tomorrow and guyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys!!!!! Guess what????

    Last time I did it in 33 minutes, and today- tadaaaaaammm- 23:33!!!!!

    That’s what I call improvement 😀 😀 😀

      Nice job, Magda! I did it in 32:06 after just getting back to Z’s workouts in the last two weeks and before that being pretty inconsistent and doing lower intensity stuff. Geesh that was hard! My face was so red when I was done and I was gasping during the last two burpee sets but I stuck with it and finished without modifying even those evil jump tucks! Woot woot! Next time will be faster.

    I did it in 26 minutes and had to have a few breaks during the burpees – killer burpees lol!
    Zuzka, you missed a 30 second skip before the pendulums on the 2nd round ;-p ;-p
