Hereโ€™s the Mystery Workout I promised you guys ๐Ÿ™‚ Itโ€™s the good old ZWOW #6. Itโ€™s definitely an X if you really push yourself. Thatโ€™s the power of short circuit workouts. No equipment needed, just a competitive attitude. I donโ€™t ever try to compete with others (cause I donโ€™t like losing..just kidding ๐Ÿ™‚ lol), but I do compete with myself on a weekly basis. I donโ€™t always manage to beat my own records but at least I have a baseline and know what to aim for.

I remember how hard this workout felt when I did it the first time, and how difficult it was for me to squat jump or do the burpees fast. I was taking short breaks and rubbing my sore legs already during the second round. I did 4 full rounds, and 4 reps of the Side Burpees in the original video and this week I decided to challenge myself to beat my record. I completed 5 full rounds and the entire set of Side Burpees. I was a little nervous, because Iโ€™m in Keto and have felt some decrease in strength when doing my workouts the first week while my body was trying to adjust, but this felt really good.     Oh, there’s no ‘add to favoutires’ button with this workout :-/

    I’m glad i kept my old workout notebook because in 2012 when i did this Zwow i wrote down i did 4 rounds in 13 minutes and today i did 5 rounds plus the side burpees and two jump lunges in 10 minutes so a definite improvement!

    I’d love a Zwow every week….even the dfeaded hard #18 lol!

        I never did #48 as i stopped the Zwows at #33 – wish I’d carried on! Maybe Zuzka will do that again one day :-)))

              No I haven’t, but I wrote it down a while ago and just checked it out. I’ll have to try it sometime…the round the lock jumps look fun and broad jump burpees are always tough! Thanks!

    Plyo jumps just killed me today for some reason. Was stopping to often so I modified and did regular jump squats.

      Today is Sunday, my rest and recovery day. So I took it a bit easier today. I followed along with you but paused for 10-15 seconds in between rounds. I burned 216 calories…now on to arm balance.
