Does anyone remember this workout? It’s so long ago, but maybe you have a record in your old exercise journal with your personal best. The beginning of 2012 was a very hard time for me, and it was reflecting on my workout performance and body composition. I got a little heavier because I was going through the type of stress that makes you want to eat more than exercise, and my mind was mostly just spinning. The workout itself was the only time when my mind became completely quiet. The feeling of relieve and serenity right after my training would carry me through at least a portion of the day and kept me sane. If you’re going through something difficult in your life right now, remember two things:
1. It’s going to be ok.
2. Your training will help you get through it, so push yourself even if you don’t feel like it.

Workout Breakdown
1. Santana Push Up to 180 Burpee x 10
2.Β Sumo Squat (x3) to Jump Tuck x 10
3. Crab toe touch x 30 alt.
4. Low Jacks x 20

My Old record from 2o12 was 2 rounds + #1, #2, and 10 Crab toe touches.
This time I completed 3 rounds and 4 sumo squats to jump tuck.

Thank you for the workout and the stress pep talk. I need to remember no1… it will get better. I have never been so stressed in my life. I moved from England to be with the man I love in Canada over 2 years ago. I am still waiting for my residency papers, a process that should have taken 6 months. I can’t work, study or anything.. I am watching my savings disappear. The most important thing is to keep working out to keep me sane, so your Zgym is a godsend. Thank you Zuzka, you are proof that you can start a new chapter in your life and it does get better π
I am feeling down and depressed lately so was a little disappointed with my 2 rounds plus upto 4 sumo squats in the 3rd… I was getting somewhere, but have lost a little fitness recently. Need to give myself a break and not be so hard on myself… I at least did it!

That sounds hard, I’ve been there, but it will pass. There’s no reason for you to stress. Trust me, I look back and I regret every minute I spend stressing out and feeling depressed. I know it’s not that easy to get out of that state of mind, but believe me that one day you will look back and feel like you’ve waisted too much time feeling sorry for yourself. You’re a beautiful young girl – I can see that from your photo π and you have an entire life in front of you. There are so many things to look forward to and so many places to explore in Canada that you haven’t seen yet. I bet you that every single girl in the ZGYM went through or is currently going through some tough times. Some of them are just about to enter the dark places that life takes us to from time to time, but we all have to go through it and we all have to keep in mind that everything shall pass. The only thing that matters is to appreciate every moment, good or bad. Shake it off and just try to enjoy your training! XO

My goodness I am sweating bullets right now, way more than I should be after only 10 minutes. ;P I only got through 2 rounds plus 1 burpee, but I’ll take it since I’ve been eating like crap for the past week. I stayed at my aunt’s house and she always spoils me with the best (unhealthiest) food and refuses to workout with me. haha. Back to the grind!

I managed 3 rounds plus 7 of #1. Geez, Zuzka, how did you complete so much??? I went real fast. I definitely do full squats, and stay real, real low for the squat jacks. Maybe that’s why I’m so slow, haha. At least for my own level. Also broke the rules and did the 15 min Fat Bur #4 twice….:) π π π π π π π π

I’ve just finished this, I completed 3R + 15 crab touches! I’m thrilled because that means I was better than Zuzka, Wooohooo!
This is not happening every day π
Besides, I don’t have with me my notes of the last time when I did this, but I’m pretty sure todays result is way better π

Oh this one was hard or I am beat from this crazy week! Or both, haha!
I did the same amount of reps like you Zu! I was a bit behind in the last round when it comes to those santanas to 180 burpee but I managed to catch you on the sumo’s. I will do one round of that 5 min wo #34 and that will be it for today! π

I am very exhausted, because my mind isn’t good for the last months. I am doing my training almost everyday. But, for the first time in my life, I had to stop my training cause I wasn’t feeling well. I know that its not the best thing to do, but I was very tired and desperate. I think that I am trying to have a better life, because I wasn’t thinking of me. After the years spending time trying to think about what was wrong with me, I decided to change things in my life. Right now, I am feeling a lot better, but I still have work to do. My concentration isn’t like it used to be. I don’t know how to get out of those difficulties, but I think that I need to find myself somewhere in this present life.

aww I remember this one because I loved it π I kept up with you Z even though I have a sore neck from a pulled muscle… I know I shouldn’t be working out but I’m so moody and snappy and tearful and agitated when I haven’t worked out with you.
