Workout Schedule for the Week of June 1st

About the workout schedule
One of my workouts a day is good enough to improve your health and fitness, and get real visible results. If you’re super motivated to get super fast results, you can do the second suggested workout in this schedule, but caution should be taken to ensure that you’re not regressing by draining your energy too much.
That said, let me give you a few tips:
1. Don’t do 2 high intensity workouts back to back. It’s going to be way more effective if you do each of them with fresh energy, so take at least a few hours in between them. If you’re fresh and strong for each workout, you’ll be able to push yourself harder and thus burn more calories and contract your muscles better. The only exception is Power Yoga. You can do PoYo after any workout since it’s an aerobic based routine focused mainly on stretching and core work.
2. Support your training with proper diet. Read through my Nutrition Guide to get the idea.
3. Track your progress. Always write down your score for every workout. If you see that you’re not beating your personal bests for routines you’ve done in the past, the chances are you’re overtraining yourself instead of getting stronger. If you’re getting fitter, stronger, and faster, it’s going to reflect on your body so keeping track of your times and reps is really important. You should also take measurements with a tape measure, and before and after pictures. Weighing yourself won’t tell you much unless you can track your body fat % which is not easy to do accurately at home.

Postural Therapy – Feet and ankles.. yay!
I’ve been having troubles with my ankles since I trained too often bare foot. With shoes, I’m fine though. Some injuries are so long to heal. But I rather prefer to be injured while moving and training than be injured by being too sedentary.
Zuzka, I’ve been wondering if you were planning to do a postural therapy involving shoulders too? 🙂

Is there a postural therapy for shoulders and wrists? If so, can you include them both in a session. It would be much appreciated! 🙂

Hi Zuzka, I am a beginner and on the beginners’ schedule there is no direct link to the workout routine like the on the “regular/more advanced one”. It would be helpful to just click on it and be redirected to the workout routine.

Thanks, that helps! How long should I stay on the beginner’s schedule?

Until you start to feel like it’s not challenging you enough and you begin to naturally feel like you want to take your training to the next limit and feel confident to try my harder routines. You have to find the right balance so that you’re not holding yourself back and fearing too much to push yourself and pushing yourself way beyond your comfort zone.

I suspect you have a lot on your plate. Over all this website is quite a marvel with few major bugs and your team seems to be doing a great job!

Hi Zu! I was wondering if in these Summer Shred Series is important to always do faster or it’s better to do normal fast..I know that each exercise always has to be in a proper form, but almost all the time we have to push hard to do fastest than ever.. because is much better to burn more calories…so, what do you think?because I don’t know and I always try to do as fast as I can ! Thanks Zu! You’ re total !!!!!!!!!! 🙂 <3

Can you put the links in the beginner workout schedule like you do the normal one? I just noticed the schedule below after I attempted the new summer shred and was very excited to see it there! Thank you 😉
