Weekly Workout Schedule - The Week of November 5th

Workout Schedules | November 05, 2017

Thank you all for participating in the ZGYM Push Up Challenge on Instagram, I really enjoyed watching your videos and seeing your passion and creativity. I will announce the winner tomorrow on my IG account @ZuzkaLight

Here’s the entire list of my EXERCISE EQUIPMENT

SummerShred#26-F

Here’s your daily bonus:

You can add an extra burn bonus workout after your main training. I suggest the Legs Like a Dancer #1  or Legs Like a Dancer #2 or #3, 3-4 times a week if you want to see really great muscle tone in your legs and glutes. You can also add any workout from the Stretch & Tone series to your daily training. In the video from one of the previous weeks I explain why is it not a good idea to do 2 high intensity workouts a day and why I encourage you to choose an easy pace workout as your second workout of the day.

Workout Programs for Beginners

If you’re a beginner and you have just joined ZGYM™ for the first time, you should be focusing on building your strength and endurance via beginner workouts so that you can eventually progress to workout series such as Cardio Shred, Body Crush, Kettlebell Workouts,  Jump Rope Cardio, etc.

If you stay consistent and workout daily, you can get there in just a few weeks. Remember that everything takes time and practice, but nothing is impossible. EXERCISE DAILY!

Here’s a 12 week Cardio & Strength Starter Program – If this program turns out to be too hard, you can do the free 9 week  Bunny Slope Program for complete Beginners.

Is it regular basil you use in your water or Holy Basil? I have never seen that other than dried in tea! Loved this coffee talk. Thank you we love hearing your sweet voice and refreshing accent! Lots of people are doing what you do but nobody does it like you!!! You are my favorite human 😊

It’s a holy basil plant that I got for my little herb garden 🙂

OH! Is that one of your sports top designs in the schedule preview picture? I LOVE it!!!

I wonder if grape juice (100% juice…not the “sugar mixed in juice” kind) would be beneficial, similar to red wine…it seems like I heard something like that ages ago. BUT it’s so hard to know with all the information out there! I’m not fond of the taste of most wines (some are ok)…but the bigger concern for me is that I have to limit to the tiniest amount (like ONE sip, only) or I risk getting a headache. I don’t have to get close to even getting buzzed — a half a glass can do it. It doesn’t happen all the time (it’s not a consistent trigger), but as I’m one who’s prone to migraines, I don’t like taking the risk of getting the headache for something I think tastes just ok. <:-/ Grape juice, on the other hand, is just fine (and I LOVE the taste of that. But I know it's sooooo sugary…even the ones with no sugar added)!

Mmmmm, and I DO like the taste of Kombucha (and coming from someone who can't stand fizz in drinks!) One of these days, I'll try making some on my own!

Yes that’s the workout top from my new line 🙂

I would suggest you to stick to Kombucha and if you don’t like the fizz, you can make your own without it by simply doing only one round of fermenting. Instead of the grape juice, I’d rather eat grapes 🙂

What is the difference between Holy basil and regular basil…..anything?

Regular basil doesn’t seem to have the same benefits and it’s not normally used for medicinal purposes. It still contains minerals and vitamins, but maybe the potency is not as strong.

Thanks for clarifying that Zuzka. I am not sure where I will be able to find it but will give it a shot.

I have been drinking Kombucha for several years now, I buy it instead of treating myself with alcohol on the weekends since its soooo good! I used to make it but I don’t have the patience right now. Thanks for sharing the green smoothie recipe, fortunately I have all the ingredients, I will make it today YAH!! 🙂

I love green smoothies but add protein powder or collagen to them as i would get very hungry shortly afterwards otherwise. going to make infused ice cubes along with the cheesecake shortly

I’ve just made my own research on Komutcha. It is not so obvious like they say.
In Japan where this thing comes from it is not so popular and even hard to find.
All the benefits go from USA where it is rather popular. Yes, it has SOME vitamins and elements but if you drink it to often it could cause lactic acidosis and liver damage. Moreover it is registed as a toxic product by USA authorities.
So, I do not say that everybody should stop drinking kombucha tea, but just do it in moderation.

Hi Zuzka, Love your coffee talks. We’ve been doing Kombucha for a few years now. Our homemade does not taste as nice as the store bought . It is drinkable though! Also, we’ve been doing Chaga mushroom tea. I started my day with Chaga Bullet Proof Coffee, so instead of making my coffee with water, I use the Chaga mushroom tea. I loved it! Also, I have been doing homemade kéfir and I have been drinking it daily as post- workout drink. It’s so awesome! Another thing I’d like to share is about of this german liqueur called ‘Jägermaister’. It is a liquer made with 56 herbs, fruits, roots, and spices including citrus peels, licorice, anise, poppy seeds, saffron, ginger, juniper berries and ginseng. If you take a little shot once in a while it is supposed to be very good for you, like red wine I suppose.
I will add the parsley & holy basil water to my day! Anyways, thank you for sharing! 👍😀💋

Jagermeester is really popular in the Czech republic, it’s one of the liqueurs I grew up with – as a kid I would get a shot of that here and there to boost my immune system 🙂

the sneak peek of workouts looks great. I’d really love to see them posted a few hours earlier so Europe could see them still early in the day (getting organized for the day). I know you need a cut-off time and then APAC would request the same and would be nearly one day ahead, but it is so motivating to be able to get workout done with other warriorz along the schedule.

I’d love this too – I don’t often follow the schedule any more because I have to work out 5am UK time to fit it in these days!

actually I workout over lunch, but can’t access the videos while working (in the morning). An option would be to have on top of an actual description, a few snapshots of how the moves look like.
For the time-being I learned to still try getting motivated without following the weekly schedule. My driver is actually the equipment I have or not access to on specific days. At least we get going 🙂

I buy two bottles of the same brand of kombucha each week at Trader Joe’s. I was just commenting this weekend to my boyfriend that I wish they sold kombucha by the gallon. I don’t have the patience or time to make it either 🙂 I’m surprised the holy basil grows well in L.A. I’ve tried growing it in Virginia but I think the weather is too hot and unpredictable here. My boyfriend is from Nepal and every household has a holy basil plant. It’s a much more mild climate there. I do have some holy basil tea though. Thank you for this coffee talk. I’m looking forward to your new fitness clothing line. I love the sports bra.
