I don’t have a video for you this week, but I do have something for you to think about. What kind of workouts/training methods would you like to see in the ZGYM in 2018? What type of equipment would you like to see more or is there any that we haven’t used yet? What is it that you’d want to work on, and improve in terms of your fitness and well being in this upcoming year? Let me know in the comments below, and I hope you guys will have a wonderful week. Workout Programs for Beginners

If you're a beginner and you have just joined ZGYM™ for the first time, you should be focusing on building your strength and endurance via beginner workouts so that you can eventually progress to workout series such as Cardio Shred, Body Crush, Kettlebell Workouts,  Jump Rope Cardio, etc.

If you stay consistent and workout daily, you can get there in just a few weeks. Remember that everything takes time and practice, but nothing is impossible. EXERCISE DAILY!

Here's a 12 week Cardio & Strength Starter Program - If this program turns out to be too hard, you can do the free 9 week  Bunny Slope Program for complete Beginners.

Thank you so much for taking suggestions! My favorite workouts are ones that use minimal equipment and really target the core and the smaller muscles that don’t always get worked. I’d love to see:
    -More workouts using gliding discs
    -More jump rope workouts
    -More Heartbreaker workouts
    -More bodyweight only workouts
    -Barefoot cardio workouts
    -Boxing/Kickboxing
Thanks, Zuzka! Have a Merry Christmas:-)

    Dear Zuzka,

First off I love your workout programs, I used to follow bodyrock and I switched to zgym about 2 Year’s ago and I could tell there was a huge increase on my muscle tone with your workouts, thank you!
For next year I’d love to see more inferno workouts, fit slides and ballerina leg workouts as well, they are all awesome and super effective.
My very special request is that I would like to tone my arms more, I feel we have not been doing arm and back focused exercises lately so it be great if you could incorporate more pull-up/push up/ and/or weighted arm and back excercises on a weekly basis. 💪💪💪😉

    Z-
Thanks for even asking what kind of workouts we want! Already there is such a large variety to choose from 🙂 and you are doing an absolutely STELLAR job at keeping things fresh and exciting! A recent fav has been the Legs like a dancer series- I’ve noticed such a positive change doing these often during the week!
Such great suggestions have been listed but here’s my two cents:
    1. More heartbreaker body workouts – loved these as the equipment is minimal and I could do it before work.
    2. Monster kettlebell workouts.
    3. Workouts that you can do in a small/tiny space.
    4. Maybe a “throwback” series – using older equipment like the Ugi ball, sandbag, balance trainer or dip station?
    5. A “Winter Warrior” series? Similar to Summer Shred but geared for indoors to stay in shape during the colder months.
I like hearing your encouragement in the videos and emphasis on the importance of form. It’s nice to hear that reminder to pull my abs in or tense both the standing and working legs. Again, thank you for all you do! Happy Holidays!

I would love a throwback series too! I open my closet and there sits my Ugi ball, sandbag and even my Dipstation could use some love.
Of course there’s so many exercises to choose from, maybe i’ll create my own 300 killer rep workouts and throw in some sliders and KB’s 🙂
      Thanks for the idea!!

Also my 2018 goal is to really nail Scorpion push-ups…..they are so tough and I think they’re amazing for your entire back area.

    Hello Zuzka
Thank you for asking. I really enjoy your z gym a lot!!! I absolutely love the fit slide and short and intense workouts. I also really like minimal equipment exercises they are fun and can be done anywhere. It is sort of empowering to use your body only and still get a fantastic work out. I would vote for less equipment added to our routines. I have a small room I work out in and it’s already packed with equipment. I really like yoga for stretching and strength. I am generally fitter than most 52 year olds however that said I do have weak areas I would like to work on like upper body strength, abs and butt. It would be great if you could work in some homework to target problem areas for people. I know you sort of covered that with learning how to do push ups and pistol squats but if you could add the same thing for problem areas and how we should incorporate that into our daily routines. Someone mentioned getting a sore back with kb swings. I get the same thing. I thought it was a weak back but maybe it is a weak butt…. I want to thank you for your z gym it is by far the best work out I have ever done. I don’t know what I would do with out you.

I have a set of gymnast rings I got off of Amazon (only thing now it’s sucks because of winter) but maybe a series using the rings? They’re really cheap and can be used in a lot of places so they’re pretty versatile, I just find myself watching all sorts of YouTube videos or just winging it with them, but id really love to see your creativeness go towards some equipment like the gymnast rings! I love your workout & teaching style!
