Workout Schedules | December 17, 2017
Hey guys,
I don’t have a video for you this week, but I do have something for you to think about. What kind of workouts/training methods would you like to see in the ZGYM in 2018? What type of equipment would you like to see more or is there any that we haven’t used yet? What is it that you’d want to work on, and improve in terms of your fitness and well being in this upcoming year? Let me know in the comments below, and I hope you guys will have a wonderful week. Don’t miss a day!

Workout Programs for Beginners
If you're a beginner and you have just joined ZGYM™ for the first time, you should be focusing on building your strength and endurance via beginner workouts so that you can eventually progress to workout series such as Cardio Shred, Body Crush, Kettlebell Workouts, Jump Rope Cardio, etc.
If you stay consistent and workout daily, you can get there in just a few weeks. Remember that everything takes time and practice, but nothing is impossible. EXERCISE DAILY!
Here's a 12 week Cardio & Strength Starter Program - If this program turns out to be too hard, you can do the free 9 week Bunny Slope Program for complete Beginners.

I’ve been here for two years so I’ve pretty much completely all the workouts on here..I’ve all your workouts and videos and recipes..amazing site with so much amazing content..I would love to see some X workouts again..lately a lot have been series for beginners and they are great..I’ve nade them harder with 30 and 45 lbs kettlebells but I miss some more challenging workouts..i often go back to cardio shred/summer shred and JRC with sliders …another series for advanced would be awesome ..it’s been awhile.

I love the postural therapy and flexibility workouts, because cardio and strength workouts are pretty easy to find, but flexibility and alignment series are so rare, especially as well as you make them Zuzka! I used to have to force myself to stretch before I found your work cuz it was so boring!
I’d love to see more workouts that are flexibility and dance oriented, I love the legs like a dancer series. I’m excited about the pole dancing especially! I hope you can teach us to do the splits and spins on the pole and maybe a few routines.
Also maybe some self defense. This year was big on showing how much harassment women go through, and we have self defense and fighting classes here in New York, but the classes are usually at night, in these smelly gyms, overpriced and run by men lol. Not that there’s anything wrong with men of course! But you’re such a great teacher, if you put together some routines explaining the methods behind self defense or some style of fighting, I would do them over and over again and become confident in the moves. Kind of like your 15 minute fat burn series!
Oh yes, and bioenergetics! Most women do yoga, but apart from the stretch I personally don’t really get anything out of yoga. Bioenergetics is so challenging and there are literally ten videos on all of Youtube explaining it lol. Apart from Elliot Hulse and Devraj Sandberg, its either a lame sales demo for a workshop/digital product or an old documentary that makes bioenergetics look mystical and illegitimate. It seems simple enough, a breathing method along with a stretch/contortion pose to break up muscular tension. You probably have all the information already to make a fantastic bioenergetic series, and you know so much about flexibility and how the brain gets frustrated when in a tough pose that I know your routines would be so superior! I try to make myself do bioenergetics every day but there are like no routines for it, and I’ve hurt myself stretching too far and breathing too deep before.
My personal goal is for more flexibility, coordination, gracefulness and athleticism. Overall more control of my body and less muscle tension, with emphasis on deep breathing. I love workouts that double as a skill, like fighting and dancing!
So thats my input! Thank you for all the work you put into the Zgym Zuzka! No one compares to you!

Also, I really loved your Guns and Pistols series from back in the day. Could you try adding to that series? Or something like pistols and handstands?

Hi Zuzka, I’d like to explore more KB multi-planar combos with lots of rotational movements. Also, single leg exercises with focus on single leg strength and balance. Also, it’d be great to learn new Jump rope drills 🙂 Thank you xx

More heartbreaker body please! The combo moves with the resistance band and dumbbells were so unique and fun.

I would love to see a series devoted to the posterior chain or to strengthen the back. I think this is the weakest part of my body, so it would be great to have a series focused on it! Also, for stretching, I really like restorative yoga moves, where you use props (like blocks, pillow, etc.) to get your body in the correct position for longer poses. Maybe you could add a few of those at the end of stretch and tone workouts.
Thanks!! 🙂

I would love to use sandbags and the ugi ball. I still have this equipment from a long time ago during the original bodyrock days.

I like everything you do, but the heartbreaker serie was fun.
Trx and a six pack workout would be great, also more bands workouts.

More fat-burning and bodyweight workouts – I looove that I can do it outdoor without hurting people with jump rope )) . 15mins Fat-burning are my favorites. I even increased working interval to 50sec and decrease rest to 10sec.
Killer Legs and abs in Tabata style – totally yeees!
More series like Summer Shred, Cardio Shred.
More combinations with jump rope. (I usually add it to some of short workouts without jump rope)
I used to be quite skeptic about those ballerina editions of exercises like ballerina squats/lunges etc. But, God, I was wrong! They are amazing!!! Keep adding them to dynamic workouts like Summer Shred,
Also I do appreciate that you include alternatives for exercises which require particular equipment (like you do for hanging leg raises or pull ups if no pull up bar around). Please, keep doing!!!
I had uneasy “relationships” with power band. I liked the effect but I hated that it was constantly rolling up and down and twisting..
I’ve noticed people talked about TRX. I have the TRX set and I even tried the program they suggested (it goes with equipment) but.. frankly speaking I found Z-Gym much more fun, interesting and effective for myself. I was always wondering what would Zuzka devise with equipment like that? So if you don’t mind to give it a chance – I’m in 😉
Also I have a small trampoline (1m in diameter) and some of exercises (squats, lunges, dead lifts and those which involve stepping or standing onto yoga blocks) i do on trampoline from time to time. As you can assume it requires much more balance than on stable ground. Sometimes if there is no place for rope (crowded gym or so) I jump on it too (I don’t have that fancy ropeless rope yet). But exercises I do on trampoline do not obtain all its benefits. If you feel like in a mood of investigating and probably introducing it into workouts I’d be glad.
And in the end. I can’t help thanking you for all what you are doing, for brilliant ideas and inspiration, for your openness to new thoughts and trends. I’ve been with you since 2010 or 2011 (means – forever :)) ) , I’ve learned a lot and improved myself up to level I could only dream about. And not only physically but also mentally. I’m pretty much into backpacking and I must admit, that after Z-Gym workouts I do really feel the difference in how much I can take on my back, how long I can walk and how I can endure and stand all the difficulties including hot or cold or rain just keep saying myself “you can do this, you are better than this, you are stronger than your weakness, you can only reach the end of the journey by keep making step by step” – simply like I do performing the workouts.
THANK YOU!!!

That’s why I do not use the tires, I hate being twisted. It would be nice to be able to change something. Let’s say weighing …?
