Workout Schedules | December 17, 2017
Hey guys,
I don’t have a video for you this week, but I do have something for you to think about. What kind of workouts/training methods would you like to see in the ZGYM in 2018? What type of equipment would you like to see more or is there any that we haven’t used yet? What is it that you’d want to work on, and improve in terms of your fitness and well being in this upcoming year? Let me know in the comments below, and I hope you guys will have a wonderful week. Don’t miss a day!

Workout Programs for Beginners
If you're a beginner and you have just joined ZGYM™ for the first time, you should be focusing on building your strength and endurance via beginner workouts so that you can eventually progress to workout series such as Cardio Shred, Body Crush, Kettlebell Workouts, Jump Rope Cardio, etc.
If you stay consistent and workout daily, you can get there in just a few weeks. Remember that everything takes time and practice, but nothing is impossible. EXERCISE DAILY!
Here's a 12 week Cardio & Strength Starter Program - If this program turns out to be too hard, you can do the free 9 week Bunny Slope Program for complete Beginners.

@zuzkalight I would love to see focus on body weight exercises targeting functional strength (handstands, ninja squats, plank, lunges, pistol squats) and explosive body weight exercises (surfer stances, burpees, etc), continueing flexibility (splits, backbends), legs like a dancer. Glutes are an area of weakness for so many and such an important muscle to keep strong and firing. You have helped mine so much and i would love to continue to get strong there. Excited to see what’s to come in 2018. I love the idea to keep it simple with the equipment. Sliders and the ball are always a challenge and fun. Thanks for taking our wishes into consideration. Happy Holidays! Xx

Body weight workouts with minimal equipment.
Not keen on buying more equipment.
These are the workouts I stick to when traveling when bringing kettle bell and dumb bells are not an option.
My most weak areas to work on in 2018 are:
arms/abs/upper body
FATBURN!
Flexibility in hipflexor and legs (want to fully squat with heels on floor)

Summer Shred, Cardio Shred….I love it, it would be good if you went on
Power bandet, it’s very uncomfortable. Is it possible with foot weight?

feels like Xmas today: I wish sliding on the floor like FloorFlow (no equipment and need flexibility) , love 2 equipment workouts and need to pick-up my own routine as I can’t do some combo due to limited access at the gym: TRX, swiss ball, powerband , KB, DB, kicking in hung sandbag, battleropes…are my usual toys.
I wish there were more back exercises, all is mostly front and then I spend extra time undoing my rounded back (lot of Egoscue to counter act, but not enough)

I’d like to have some more tricep exercises preferably that don’t use equipment as I travel often. I’m not a fan of slider exercises. I really, really appreciate the two – three options per day. Thanks for that. Your exercises program is the first I’ve ever stuck with (two years two months now)! I recommend it to many people. Happy Holidays.

My favorite series have been the Black Diamond Upper Body and Abs and the Jump Rope Cardio Kettlebell X. So more workouts like those. Also, wasn’t there going to be a vegan meal plan released? I’m still interested in that too.

I’m still discovering the huge quantity of differents work outs in the Zgym but I really enjoy the low impact ones and all kind that makes me feel my legs and abs on fire.
I’ d suggest to include in every daily work out a buy-in and/or a buy-out exercise (sorry if I have not written it correctly, I mean short exercises very focused in a specific part of our body). In this way, you could make everybody happy 🙂 : those who wants more abs, arms, or more cardio, KB… or, as I personally prefer: butt and legs with the elastic band and the sliders.
I have some problems with my knees, therefore I can’t do jump rope every day, so I would be really thankful if you separate this exercise from the next one so I can let my knees rest.
Finally, just say that you and your team are doing an amazing work that every “Zgymer” is enyoing, so keep going guys!
and happy new year!

Bodyweight only is always a favorite!
I don’t have a lot of space or money for equipment so I would love series for things we have already: KB, DB, Pullup bar, swiss ball, sliders, and power bands. 🙂
Jump rope is also a favorite because even though my ceiling is too low to use one, the workouts are still great as bodyweight 🙂

so true Stephanie Love! I am minimalist so bodyweight fits perfectly into my lifestyle 🙂
Fewer toys laying around my house the better!

What I need to work on ASAP is my diet!! I would love to see what I eat in a day type videos/vlogs that include when and what workout you do. Watching others do these things really inspire me to be accountable and be disciplined. Also, I would love to see a program that was an upper body strength routine using only resistance bands (including subs with a KB too!) I can’t do a pull up to save my life, ha. But building the strength in those back muscles would be a great start. I do some now, but in a routine to bring consistency would be more impactful. Thank you !!!

I really liked those black diamond workouts and the upper body focused workouts as some others have mentioned. I like having the pull ups in the workouts as well. Ive been enjoying the kicking and the barre workouts too. I also still have the Ugi ball from way back in the day – that might be fun to use again!
