Weekly ZGYM Workout Schedule - The Week of December 18th
Workout Schedules | December 17, 2017
Hey guys,
I don’t have a video for you this week, but I do have something for you to think about. What kind of workouts/training methods would you like to see in the ZGYM in 2018? What type of equipment would you like to see more or is there any that we haven’t used yet? What is it that you’d want to work on, and improve in terms of your fitness and well being in this upcoming year? Let me know in the comments below, and I hope you guys will have a wonderful week. Don’t miss a day!

Workout Programs for Beginners
If you're a beginner and you have just joined ZGYM™ for the first time, you should be focusing on building your strength and endurance via beginner workouts so that you can eventually progress to workout series such as Cardio Shred, Body Crush, Kettlebell Workouts, Jump Rope Cardio, etc.
If you stay consistent and workout daily, you can get there in just a few weeks. Remember that everything takes time and practice, but nothing is impossible. EXERCISE DAILY!
Here's a 12 week Cardio & Strength Starter Program - If this program turns out to be too hard, you can do the free 9 week Bunny Slope Program for complete Beginners.

I would love for you to bring back zropes, zwow, and zshred workouts. I love those workouts and felt amazing after doing them. Kettlebell workouts would be nice as well. I absolutely love the workouts you do now, however having the old types of workouts would be wonderful. Ei find myself doing a lot of the older workouts, especially the zropes.

Zuzka,
I know you don’t use a gym, since that’s the whole point of your routines, lol 😉 , but I think it would be nice if you had a workout option or guide to your daily workouts for those of us who use the gym as our happy place? The only reason I say this is because lately I have found that I’ve been enjoying watching your workout videos, writing down your scores & daily workout scheduled each day and then completing them at the gym because my apartment has carpet only (so I can’t do a lot of the jump roping/workouts – that I love doing btw) and because I just need to get out of my place since I work at home. Anyone else have thoughts on this?
Thanks Z as always, and can’t wait to see what’s in store in the Zgym for 2018! 🙂

Could you just explain how would the workouts be any different? Do you mean workouts that require an actual gym equipment like the machines, heavy weights and such?

I’ll try to explain the best I can 🙂
For example, you know how currently in your workouts you give (easier modifications) in the breakdown , like” kneeling push ups in place of regular” or “jump squats in place of the jump rope if you don’t have it” etc.? Maybe it would be a cool feature if you could do a similar option for those of us using the gym & gym equipment that day as an alternative (like you mentioned weights, machines)?
I apologize if I made it seem like your current workouts needed to be different. In fact, not at all as they are fabulous just the way they are 🙂 but sometimes all I can do is go to the gym. I want to feel good about my daily workout experience doing exercises that are similar to the workouts you provide each day, without sacrificing form and still challenge myself enough, but not to the point of over/under training. Sometimes I find myself feeling almost guilty/disappointed if I don’t do the correct workout (almost like I let you down, haha 😉 .) Does that at all make sense?
Thanks again in advance for taking the time to read through everyone’s posts, it shows how truly passionate you are about the fitness, health & happiness of this community!
All the best,
-Katie

Zuzka,
Will you be working out on Christmas Eve/Christmas day? Or should we allow ourselves to relax for a few days and just enjoy family? I always find it hard to squeeze everything in, but don’t want the guilt of not skipping a workout 🙂 What do you suggest?
Happy Holidays,
Katie

Zuzka,
I just thought of a really good combination/suggestion of exercises to compliment what I was talking about earlier. How about a jump rope & weights series?! For example you could do (1 minute high knees followed by 1 minute shoulder presses with weights, followed by 1 minute jump jacks & then 1 minute bicep curls etc. for a total time of 15-20 minutes like your workouts are now?
I’m not sure if you were still looking for ideas, but I thought I would throw it your way just in case 😉 I hope you have a happy new year (hopefully with a little bubbly? 🙂 ) and thank you so much for listening!

First I would like to say this week’s schedule looks killer! Thank you for helping us get through the upcoming holidays feeling fantastic! I agree with many others when I say I loved this year’s Summer Shred. I also found the Low Impact Full Body WOs tough and I always feel the soreness after!
There is not a lot I would change or add to the ZGym. I would love to use the swiss ball, heavy KB and wall in the upcoming year because I find them both frustrating yet fun to master! I love following the schedule five days a week and fitting in yoga or some outdoor activities on the weekend.
How do you plan the WO schedule and does it follow a theme or focus each week? Would you consider teaching us how to plan our own WO schedules with the huge library we have available?
Have you ever considered a partner-workout series? We could share the feeling of accomplishment or drum up some competition!
Thank you for reading our feedback. Have a lovely week!

You have so much variety now Z I wonder how you come up with it all. Everyone has made really great suggestions though so will be amazed to see what you come up with next. One thing I have missed most this past 6 months or so is you Z. It was always such a nice surprise to see a video/vlog/making recipes/general how your week was going/new stuff/coffee talks/doggies/engagements/etc… without even knowing what day it would pop up on…..like an added bonus to the day for us!!! Now, I realize you are crazy busy so am not whining about it 😉 Just letting you know that was always something that brightened my day (and I am sure all Zgymers) just a little bit more 🙂

I miss Cardio Shred, the old Kettlebell workouts, and either Lifted Burt or Killer Legs.
Of course sliders are always amazing. 🙂
