Weekly ZGYM Workout Schedule - The Week of December 18th

Workout Schedules | December 17, 2017

Hey guys,

I don’t have a video for you this week, but I do have something for you to think about. What kind of workouts/training methods would you like to see in the ZGYM in 2018? What type of equipment would you like to see more or is there any that we haven’t used yet? What is it that you’d want to work on, and improve in terms of your fitness and well being in this upcoming year? Let me know in the comments below, and I hope you guys will have a wonderful week. Don’t miss a day!

Workout Programs for Beginners

If you're a beginner and you have just joined ZGYM™ for the first time, you should be focusing on building your strength and endurance via beginner workouts so that you can eventually progress to workout series such as Cardio Shred, Body Crush, Kettlebell Workouts,  Jump Rope Cardio, etc.

If you stay consistent and workout daily, you can get there in just a few weeks. Remember that everything takes time and practice, but nothing is impossible. EXERCISE DAILY!

Here's a 12 week Cardio & Strength Starter Program - If this program turns out to be too hard, you can do the free 9 week  Bunny Slope Program for complete Beginners.

So excited for a new year of workouts! I’d love to see more cardio focused “x” routines with a lower body emphasis and I loved the heart breaker series!

I have never commented before so first I want to say thanks for such a great website…best $10 a month I have ever spent! I would love to see the TRX system in a workout series as well as more butt focused workouts.

I also just wanted to add, I think we need to keep the upper body (inferno etc….) series and back/pull-ups super important to do our upper bodies cause a lot of our cardio involves lunges/legs, jump squats etc… the 300 rep w/o’s, summer shreds series and heartbreaker workouts please please keep and I also agree would like to see something with a mini trampoline, sandbags again and Ugi ball 🙂💪🏽

I love everything you do A few years ago , maybe longer, you used something like a Leibert equalizer set I and purchased one. I was wondering how you feel about using them for dips. I have heard dips are a wonderful exercise, but I notice you rarely incorporate them into a workout. Could this be an option for the new year?

I think you mean the dip station, but it’s essentially the same thing. If I get more Zgymers interested, then yeah!

I would be interested, as I also bought an equalizer set for that one workout when you used the dip station. It’s now gathering dust in the garage… I imagine it could be really versatile, but I need someone to inspire me to use it!

I have a dip station too from way back in the day that I would enjoy using as well. I also have an Ugi ball and a sandbag. Medicine balls might be fun to use as well.

Hi! Thanks for always taking in count our 5 cents.
I truly enjoy the wide variety of work outs that your website offers, but as of now, Im going to pitch in with a selfish input. Because I only have a block from 5am-5:50am to exercise and because I live in a tiny apartment (and the stupid gym doesnt open until 5:45 am, ugh), I have truly taken advantage of silent, lower impact workouts, in fact I now own three kettlebells (26, 35 and 50 lbs) and have really enjoyed using them with the elastic band and the sliders. There is a good range of these work outs to pick from, but Id be lying if I daid that I wouldn’t want to see more of those.
Quick, effective, tough and low impact work outs are my go to (at least for now). Thank you!! 🙂

Would it be possible to include some kind of ”word of encouragement”every now and then conerning eating habbits? Maybe a challenge improving one eating habbit every week or so. It could be individual also.

We have all been so blessed with what you already provide. I am a healthier person, because of your workouts. I like the ingenuity and balance you provide. So often when you begin a new series, I am a bit skeptical, yet, I have gained so much from the Legs like a Dancer, Low Impact total body, etc. The workouts that really inspire me, though, are the bodyweight only. Something about the combinations you always gets my adrenaline going 🙂

I think an agility ladder series would be a lot of fun. ZGym members could either buy a ladder or simply make their own with masking tape. Jumping rope makes me feel like a kid and using a ladder reminds me of hopscotch. I think it could add a new twist to many of the bodyweight/handweight exercises we already do.
